Anybody know how to get GPUZ to show true spec of GTX 980, it shows as 32 ROPS for me? In some of reviews their GPUZ displays properly?

Awesome, Ill wait then instead of jumping on the bandwagon right away. Hopefully EVGA might release a 8GB card too.
Which ones? They all look the same as at launch to me, unless you're not talking about OCUK.
yes from OCUK.

EVGA ACX 2.0 cooler, seems to be working fine. Much of nothing really I think. My first time with EVGA but I've only heard good things about warranty (though not an issue as mine is a reference 980).
This issue with the ACX cooler on the EVGA cards, has anyone found a strip down of the ACX 2.0 on the interwebs to see if the issue is there too?
Just found this http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2014/09/19/nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-review/1 tear down & test with the ACX2.0 going head to head with the ASUS Strix & MIS 970's. Picture clearly shows 2.0 cooler not in full contact with gpu when compared with Strix & MSI coolers.
I haven't seen any increase in the prices since last week. Would be very odd for the price to rise a week after launch, are you sure you aren't confusing something

Same prices as release : /
I must be mistaken then
Thank you, so strange that it that it isn't lining up, even if the cooler is keeping up with other cards, what would it be like if it was centred.
Theyve reused the cooler from a kepler board without any modification, as the third pipe doesnt contact the chip they didnt bother filling it, it reeks of cost cutting and you end up with poorer cooling than even the reference cooler
It's the cooler from the GTX760, which also only had the main two heat pipes touching the die and the minor one not touching it.
.
there's no room to get the third pipe on it anyway
