No need for that, I was actually genuinely interested, but with that attitude you're not gonna achieve much.
That was me being flippant rather than antagonistic. No need to take offence at a throw-away comment.

Besides, this is GD. A bear pit where people are smelling the air for the scent of blood, and eyeing up prey for signs of weakness.

If you ask me about it I'm assuming you intend to take the ****. Rightly or wrongly.

Quite the opposite actually, I thought your goal was a bit ambitious but nobody ever became successful without ambition, and in some ways your ideas inspired me too. I'm now perilously close to the target, in fact if I stick my tongue out far enough I can taste it. You need to get back on it, and tell everyone who takes the mick to go **** themselves, this target is for you and nobody else, so filter out the useful stuff and get rid of the rest.

So go on then, spill the beans, give us a TLDR on what happened and when you're going to pick it up again. Extra insight from others is worth more than you can ever imagine, someone will eventually say something that resonates perfectly with you, and this could well be the board from which you jump to new heights.

What do you do again?

(we should probably dig up your old thread rather than soil what is going to be the next Rhyl joke)

In just under a month it will have been 5 years since the 50k in 5 years thread was made. I have a calendar reminder set to make sure I bump it and ask OP how successful he has been.

Come 'ere you!

I think it was misguided tbh... though I gave serious replies in the thread both as to how it could be achieved and to not pursue a career in that way.

I think pursuing something you enjoy is more likely to pay off in the long run and in the other poster's case, perhaps moving out of Cornwall for a period of time, at least to get some experience etc.. and get job opportunities, though depending on the career moving back and working from home is potentially feasible once established.

5 years is a long time, could qualify in a profession in that length of time or complete an undergrad and masters degree.
