Guild Wars 2

Also are there any tips you guys can give a noob, We just failed on a mission were we had to get parts to fire some catapolts to kill the char that have taken over some great wall :p

lol! That's right at the beginning. It's all about careful pulling, take at least the healer henchman for that mission. You cant customize henchmen, but you can customize heroes (later in the game).

Once you get to Lions Arch (after 2-3 missions from where you are at the moment) you can travel to the other 3 campaigns. I would recommend you go to Nightfall from there and unlock your heroes. This will increase your chances of completing the campaign you are on with Master rewards - saves a lot of time in the long run if you plan on working towards your HoM.

You get heros in Nightfall and Eye Of North campaign, what I did when I played is I got to level 10 then went to beginning of the eye of the north campaign section to get some heros, then returned with them to help me out.

Also how does it work having all 3 expansions? Can we just play the orginal up to level 20 and then go to the other games and skip the start and do whatever mission or what? I dont quite understand how the game works because its pretty different to any other game iv played..

They're all separate campaigns. But it'll be a better idea to finish them one at a time in the order Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, Eye of the North, because there are some links between them that you wouldn't understand. To understand the build up to the story better its best if you start a new character on that campaign each time you want to start a new one (the levelling curve for Prophecies is insanely slow compared to the other 2 campaigns) but once you reach the main hub (you'll know where that is because its the place that lets you travel to different continents) you can swap back to your original character if you'd prefer to play through entirely on one and carry on from there.

Most people would probably tell you to jump onto Nightfall as soon as you get to Lions Arch though just to get a few heroes, though they might make completing the rest of Prophecies a bit easy.

Well playing SWTOR and someone starts talking about Guild Wars 2 and now look whats happened, back to Guild Wars yet again trying to get my HoM half decent for GW2 release. Got this so far:

Finally finished off my Legendary Skill Hunter today, took me to 18 maxed titles. Now i need to finish my Tyrian Vanq and Cartographer. Also need to start concentrating on getting more rare weapons and armor etc instead of just titles.

Really hoping I get quite early Beta access created my account on luanch day so I'm hoping they go by this and not just random.

Considering they're about to let in the press, it shouldn't be as late as late summer. I'm guessing June at the latest, hopefully earlier.

could never get away with the first guild wars, mainly because iirc you couldn't jump!!

And that mattered? Its not as if they put chest high walls everywhere that somehow blocked your path and required you to take an obscenely round-a-bout route just because your character can't climb 2 ft.

Oh sorry guys,

It does look like its another closed beta just for the press. IGN worded it in such a way that it sounded like there would be a way of getting into the beta too.

Doesn't seem to be so. :(

Was really looking forward to it too.
