Not sure where they're getting their prices from but nothing seems to be selling for the prices they list. I see a few items are listed for those prices (maybe someone did it based on that site?) but the offers that have been made are a lot lot lower than that site says things sell for.
 
I think maybe the market moves quicker than the website updates, but I guess it can still be useful for following trends.

I'm not sure though I haven't looked at the site.

yeah its not 100% accurate....BUT it does give a good indication.

Use it as a template and quickly research, cost of mats vs sale price and you can make profit quite quickly.

I made 2g while I was on last night for a couple of hours.

I looked at a fewthings that cost around 70 silver to make and reportedly sold for about 2g 50s. Looking in game the offers were closer to 90s.

Maybe I was just looking at the wrong stuff.

same, its not really very accurate. I still think the bag opening/selling is a more secure way of earning cash even if its a little on the slow side.

i could never get that to work, for every bag i didnt make money on, another 4-5 made me a loss etc :(

I just started a mesmer too after playing thief till lvl 80 and am enjoying the different play style. First time I saw the clones I was so confused as to why my character had been duplicated, shamefully took me a while to realise
 
I'm actually giving Necro a proper shot again, though now I'm trying to lvl it rather than just spvp.
I'm actually starting to like/enjoy it. Still to early to tell but it is quite involving to play, though the damage does seem a tad on the low side.

Still for those thinking about it, trying leveling one to get a real feel for it.

I'm enjoying the story but struggling to want to level my thief/ranger to 80.
 
Only thing I'm starting to dislike about the game is I still can't decide on a class :(

I like aspects of them all and equally dislike them. Got a 59 and the rest are high teens :p

Still enjoying the game just want to decide on a class!
