Well maybe it was the /sigh was what made you come across quite rude.

A list of everything they've added doesn't help me with seeing what the general reception of the game is at the moment.

That doesn't mean much to you though does it? Anything to reply like an ******* instead of ignoring my post if you think it's worthless.

only update i would like is to be able to zoom into first person, some of those jumping puzzles are hard because you can't see around your 20 foot morbidly obese norn character :o

or can you do that already? :confused:

I didn't think your post was worthless, it's simply a case, of the sheer number of people asking other peoples opinions, that's all they are... opinions.

It takes less than 2 minutes to read an update list to see if you like the features they've changed. Instead you're asking other people to do (what should be) your own work for you.

Make your own mind up, don't take someone else's opinion for it.. the only opinion that truly matters, is your own.
 
I think you're being a bit harsh on him Anon. It's thread full of GW2 players after all, and was an innocent enough question.

Gaming time is valuable, the more we help each other figure out how best to spend it, the better :)

It's not even that tbh. It's just that opinions on games can either be fair, fanboy'ish or hating. You can tell how a game is by the opinions it receives.

I've been away ill for a few days so haven't been kept up to date too much with GW2 news, but wasn't there meant to be the halloween patch today?

Pretty sure it goes live at 12noon PST, which will be about 8pm ish this evening.

EDIT : Looking again they've pushed the release back to 'late afternoon' now, so yeah after midnight for us :(

I really like the look of this game, but I have never played a MMORPG before. I love games like Skyrim, The witcher etc so can this game be played like a single player game ? :D
 
You can play by yourself if you avoid dungeons and pvp. You will see others in the world in events but you don't need to get into a group its just open co-op.

You can, but the whole point is really to group up and quest/pvp together. It isn't really a single player game like Skyrim or The Witcher.
