I know there are a lot of people who want to do dungeons, but they are not always in Lions Arch. I really wish Anet would create some sort of world wide dungeon tool that requires you to be social to use it, like a world wide lfg channel or a notice board implemented into the UI so you can post your lfg needs on it.

You can do LFG using the /map chanel on the map/area where there is a dungeon. There is also people who chill and wait outside a dungeon entrance as well that you can ask

Yeah i know that, but i don't think its very practical when you a few dungeon choices in mind. Also i hate standing around doing nothing, so being able to look for a dungeon group while im doing events etc would make the game much more enjoyable for me personally.

Hey its not as bad as grinding arah 1 path a day and hoping to get at least 4 people who are interested WITH the gate not open or the event working so we can open the gate.

although i do agree there needs to be a X-Server LFG chat as its a pain in the ass finding people to do some dungeons as everyone just wants to re run CoF, AC or TA and skip every thing till end boss nothing more.

Although i finally made wall of the mist for my warrior, now just to find something for my thief to make.

I went and bought it, got a free week & end so thought why not.

Anyone fancy giving me a top ten list of things to do / not to do? Character builds, servers, anything really.

Alright mate. If your on desolation add Caskirensys. I'm not on all that much atm, but that should change soon hopefully.

List of things to do:
1. Don't have a list of things to do.

There's no best profession, best build, best way to play. Once you start seeing the game like that you cut yourself off from the sense of wonder that comes with playing a new MMO. You're supposed to not have a clue about anything when you start.

Oh, but most OCUKers are on Desolation. Put that on your list.

Lol cheers. Went for Desolation as i saw it mentioned a few times.

Its been canny, found it out the way the missions play out, completed about 10 before realising i didnt have to run back to the quest giver to get the reward.

Traits had me stumped for a while, needed to buy a book and currently getting used to crafting.

Well i would be but im all of a sudden getting error code: 42:6:3:2060, not allowing me to log in. Been fine for the last day or so then bam, no going in to the game. :(

Its just the new patch with the lost shore ready to download and the servers are getting hammered, be OK in a while.

Rangers got absolutely shafted on their 'significant' update.

Buffed a few underwater skills. LOL. Just LOL.

The ANet forums are rife with monster threads on Ranger deficiencies.

As it goes I still seem to do ok in WvWvW with my Ranger. The most annoying thing is that pets won't hit moving targets. Just daft.

And Thieves still have a frankly ridiculous 10 second disappearing-act ability (plus other cloak abilities too) alongside their stupid 15-20k spike damage.

With WvWvW literally overrun with imba Thieves and Mesmers (and to an extent Warriors) these days it's a wonder people play anything else at all really. Unless ANet step up and seriously fix this then I think WvWvW and possibly GW2 as a game is limited in its overall longevity.

Really enjoying it. Need to find more leather or whatever it is that makes leather and I can really crack on with crafting. My major drive over the weekend is to get a few levels through crafting alone.

Love how you are brought back down to the level of your surroundings, means every zone still offers something.
