Guild Wars 2

It has a double pommel. That's how it's designed :) I'm not sure if you're kidding or not!

Odd... when it's previewed it's normal generic GS model with one pommel.

It looks like a bug having 2 when drawn. It's like there are two overlapping models. I doubt it's designed to look like that.

Looking on the forums it's been bug reported several times. None of the other 'Mists' weapons look like that when drawn.

Did Arah Path 3 last night, that was great fun. I've put off doing Arah until now due to all the horror stories of it being stupid hard/long etc.

We decided to give it a go last night, and it was one of the most fun dungeons I've ever done. We had a great laugh and there's some epic scenery and boss fights in there.

So just need Arah 1,2,4 now for my Dungeon Master title :D

Only done Arah story mode but running the guild through all of the dungeon story modes at the moment anyway (if anyone is on Friday evenings and wants to join us send me a tell in game (Atkin)) as we're a small guild and tend to have a spot free. Alternatively shove a post on here, Guildies will get preference over the spot but in all honesty there's usually is a spot going! http://www.griffonknight.com/forums/index.php?topic=2042.0

Liked Arah, except the part where you've to pick up 3 wisps and return them at the same time, found that irritating although did it at 4th attempt.

Most fun so far was probably Citadel of Flame, just really enjoyable fights. Fractals 1 was fun too but found a lot of it a bit too much like a platform game and annoyingly didn't count towards monthly dungeon runs! :)

Yeah Fractals is totally separate, did them to death to get my ascended rings :D

I've done all the other dungeons a million times, but only ever done Arah storymode before last night. Was fun exploring somewhere new for a change!

And it made a change for the boss fights to be interesting and not just OP one shotters that force yo to kite like a mentalist.

EDIT - Also the wisps you are talking about are in Fractals 'Swamp' not in Arah :) Swamp is actually the easiest/fastest fractal of them all if you have a team that knows what its doing. It was an utter pain in the bottom the first time I went there, took us aaaaages. But after doing fractals about a squillion times now you can be in and out in 10 mins :D Grab wisps, open passage, kill Mossman/Tree job done.

You're right, getting mixed up! I do remember several of the Arah fights being quite tight and us being down to 2 people standing midway though them, only to win out in the end.

We're off to Twilight Arbor tomorrow, looking forward to it. Best of all with a mostly guild group is people don't mind if you have to AFK, last time when we were halfway through HOTW one of our group had to AFK for 25mins, the rest of us just used it as an excuse to muck about!

Yeah Guild runs are the best, we got half way through Arah last night and all went for a 15min 'Brew Break', continued on afterwards with tea n biscuits :D What what!

Twilight Arbour is good, loads of people hate it, but I thought it was good fun. Problem with TA is loads of PUG's just want to skip everything, I enjoy it much more when you kill all the trash mobs as well. Plus with the new 'no WP while in combat' rules if someone gets downed while trying to run past trash it's a right pain.

Now I've got my exotic Rabid Armour - Orr 42k Karma armour with the same stats as Khilbron's eye wateringly expensive set, but at a fraction of the price. I've transmuted it all with a Profane skin so I look a little different from your oh so common g-string wearing Mesmer tartlet.

Hey, my Mesmer tartlet finds that insulting :(

What's a good active guild for people in Desolation? I'm in 1 atm but it's a bit, meh. I want 1 with regular dungeon runs and FoTM (Not even been in there yet).

can join GKs mate but we're a very small guild so may not suit. Immortals are on deso too and hopefully some other suggestions will be posted!

How many people you have in there?

Also, I don't know if it's been mentioned, but if you find yourself wanting to do a dungeon/fractal and there's no one about that wants to join in:

http://gw2lfg.com/

Super easy to get a party together :) I use it for most of my FOTM runs.

I have been using that, but it would be nice to have some guys to talk to on Teamspeak while we play. I need someone to hold my hand for the time being as I dont even know how FoTM work (Stopped playing when they were introduced).

yeah the comms can make a difference in higher level fractals. I'm fortunate enough to have 3 regular peeps in our small guild who are very active and we have a blast doing Fractals.

Well you're welcome to join us mate, we're a very small guild because the bulk of our folks moved back to rift, but the few of us that remain are quite active. We're not hardcore as others though due to work etc, also we're on Gandara, we're always on mumble - if you want any more info just pm me in game > jinx.7390

new PvP arena footage..

This norn-themed map, which is surrounded by sheer cliffs, features shrines to the Spirits of the Wild and a new secondary objective. In this map, we combine our established conquest gameplay with intense capture-the-flag gameplay—except instead of a flag, players will battle over the glowing Orb of Ascension!

How many people you have in there?

Probably around 15 regulars/week, most on at various times and doing various things. Friday nights are our peak, usually 10-12 on and a guild group doing dungeon runs, actually had to turn people away last night for our 4th weekly outing which was a nice change! We do dungeons at other times but entirely depends who's on, there's a core of us who will do them whenever we get the urge and there's enough on, we'd rather avoid randoms unless their friends.

Don't have to join though, can always join another guild and i'll /tell you anytime we're off to a dungeon :D

Did two more dungeons in story mode last night, can see us doing a fractals during the week. http://www.griffonknight.com/forums/index.php?topic=2042.0
