Guild Wars 2

Is anyone else having problems logging in at the moment? :(

Keeps saying "the game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server"
But when I check my account in browser on a different IP it says my home IP connected to the server (says 1min ago).

I noticed they announced an update about an hour ago but not been able to login for the past 30mins :(

i think the update is just being deployed. i had the exact same issues about 20 mins ago, logged out of 1 char to get into another and couldn't get in. i eventually did and played for 5 mins now i've been kicked out again and it started trying to download the patch. but it can't connect, loads of connection errors.
 
Looks like they must be applying a server update too, more ore for me :D

Guild wise we're fairly active but small, so dungeon runs are done weekly rather than daily although it all comes down to numbers and in the past week I think we've done 3 or 4 dungeons raids, we'd rather do it as a guild and chill at the same time than get all stressed in a PUG with some idiot who doesn't know what AFK means.. :P

I had that :( got in for like 5mins then it said client was going to reset

Downloading at 500k/sec so might just go on DOTA2 and download the patch tonight.
The patch seems pretty big :(

To be fair a fairly active crowd who are doing things would suit me :)

Yes just drop me a whisper or mail in game and I'll drop you an invite, fairly mature guild but a few under 20s still around :P Any non-recruit can invite so after a few days when one of the officers promotes you any of your mates can join up. Only real rules are don't be a $%£ and don't swear (too much) in guild chat!

Just been on, spotted an invader event and posted it in map chat, within 20s there was a zerg there chewing mobs up! Was absolutely gobsmacked how many people were waiting on one popping!
 
Did all three dragons tonight, each one was more laggy than the previous one. Jormag (dragon 3) was pathetic, almost died at the end of the first shield wall going down as it was lagging so badly it couldn't take off.

Shatterer simply vanished at the end rather than taking off for most people.

Tequatl's fear effect was more like a rave as everyone stuttered away from it.

Oh and there was an overflow on Frostgorge during the Jormag fight as one of my guild mates couldn't get in zone and had no Jormag in the overflow to fight!

They need to re-think this as clearly long-term if they've improved loot people will still be hitting those dragons in prime time by the hundreds.
 
have barely played this and level 19 atm but I find it very poorly designed that I have to travel around the other races zones to scavenge some events for some xp since there isn't enough rather than sticking to a route
