No you haven't, let's at least be a little honest. I've had about a dozen exotics drop from dragons/JP chests and of course lots from zone completions but there are no legitimate ways to make 5g an hour consistently without relying on luck with chests.

Partied up I sometimes get 4 rares an hour, usually always get an ecto from salvaging, regulary get 2-3 ecto's from each, that's on top of other things I pickup like powerful bloods that sell for 25-30s each, my guild leader has a pretty good event route, it's only since the patch I've been making 10g every few hours, my luck will probably drop.
 
Event chests are limited to one per day per character, so unless you have a ton of alts all rotating event chests...

I know people who do that, but it's not how I like to play.

Much prefer dungeons/fractals than event hopping.

I'm pretty much in agreement with this. I've done shed loads of the 'big' events and never once even had a single exotic drop.

I suggest the 10g for two hours graft claim to be a load of bollards.

I've been lucky since the update that's all. Doesn't bother me if people believe me or not.
 
Yeah, they said the event was really going to ramp up in March/April, Jan/Feb were just build-up.

Some good stuff coming in the March update as well. WvW rank progression, and culling fix being two of the biggies.
 
Getting increasingly annoyed with the overflow servers at the moment. Every time there's a major event, i.e. a dragon fight and suchlike there's truck loads of people guesting from other servers getting into my home server and preventing me completing the event because it doesn't happen on the overflow server I've been placed on. Inevitibly I never get out of the queue and miss the event completely. Sort it out ANet!

On a positive note I completed my monthly achievement yesterday, got my 10 extra Laurels and am now proudly sporting my Jade Wind Orb Amulet. I'm melting everything with my condition Mesmer at the moment, WvWvW is a blast. Ooooh all the pretty pink confusion numbers on my screen. I had a team of 3 enemy kiting the hell out of me at about 20% each yesterday. Finally downed and killed one of them in the water near their spawn. Ah, good times!
