Guild Wars 2

Is anyone having as much as an issue with race choice as they are with class? I know it's mainly aesthetics at the end of the day but the different storys are intriguing. Based on the betas I think I'm going with Charr, they just look awesome! And the slice of the storyline I got was great too.

Strangely, Charr were the only race I avoided. I just found the whole cow (;)) look rather unsightly.

The Norn are cool and the story was enagaging, so I'd probably run a ranger alt one day, but I'll be terribly generic and go Human.

Warrior or Guardian though, that's the real issue for me.
 
Just saw this on Green Man Gaming "PURCHASES ON OR AFTER 17TH AUGUST WILL NOT INCLUDE THE 3 DAY EARLY ACCESS OR ACCESS TO BETA WEEKENDS!"

I need to buy another key for a friend, where is the cheapest place at the moment where I he will still get 3 day early access?
 
ive been playing lotro for 3 years actively now and my main is a warden. i know guild wars 2 has gotten rid of the whole holy trinity ( tank, healer and dps ), but i wanted to try something more sneaky sneaky so ill be rolling a human thief. my alt will be a sylvari elemantalist as i think they look soo cool! :) :D cant wait till release date

Hmm I've left it late to pre-purchase the digital edition too then...

I might just have to go for the standard physical edition and wait an extra 3 days. :/
 
I'm looking at that, but it's ~£15 more than the standard physical edition. Not sure if it's worth it, I'm only going to be playing casually.
 
If your around all weekend and able to play it'll be worth it, I know I'd be kicking myself if I had the free time and wasn't able to.

i think you might as well wait. pre-purchase gets you in on the 25th ( 3 days early) . pre-orders get you in on the 27th ( 1 day early ). just pre-occupy yourself for 2 days if you can :)

Yeah I think I'll do that.

I don't really want to buy the standard physical edition because I don't like to get the box and associated useless stuff. But it is way cheaper than the digital edition, unless I've missed something.
 
Anyone else LANing it up for the release? Two of my pals coming up from Bath for 4 days of gaming and fast food. Like old times. <3
