Guild Wars 2

*ironing

And now you're complaining about the person complaining about the complainers? the alternative is just to leave this thread to them as an unofficial 'our guild' drama thread?

Or just ignore the posts about our guild that seems pretty simple to me, we must have the best part of 70 if not more members from here so obviously we are providing a service that people want.

And by posting guild stuff here is not the problem at all it's the small minded shinning comments about it that is.

Again this will be my last reply to this as well.

On topic still can't decide between thief and engineer. Spent ages looking through the talent pages as well.

I am in a similar position apart from with Thief and Elementalist. Even have my builds mapped out and ready!

I'm seriously considering levelling them at the same time!

If you like the idea of being able to blink into the middle of an enemy zerg, either snipe some guy who is on low hp or just blow a cooldown and cause untold havoc with something like daggerstorm, all whilst at any point being able to safely blink back to where you started, all safe and sound. Play Thief :)

I'm stuck between Norn Warrior and Human Elementalist. I'm making both, but not sure which will be primary and which will be alt. Every BWE and stress test i've tried both, and no matter how much testing I do I love them both! :(

I never expected to like elementalist so much, nearly all of my previous games (with the exception of DAoC where my main was a Theurgist) I've played a heavy type dps/tanking sort of class.

Even the class choices other than warrior and elementalist for me were very close to be a contender for my main character. All classes seem to offer quite a lot on GW2 and it is by far the hardest game I've had when it comes to deciding a class.

Out of thief engineer, personally I found engineer to be 'interesting' but wasn't as fun for me as the other classes. Thief on the other hand was quite a badass in combat and was fun, but just not as fun for me as my current top 2 choices. :)

I do this as I'm a right alt-a-holoic ... And it's being a long time since there was a game where so many classes appealed, I watched the vid from buildcast last night on the necro, wow high end ones look brilliant to play ..with deathshroud* they so OP :)

*think I may have the skill name slightly wrong.

ThAts what caught my eye about the thief but I don't particularly like melee in gw2 die to the extreme ability effects.

Thinking run and gun with dual pistols then occasionally switch to dagger to break/interrupt zergs with shadow step and dagger storm. Be interesting to see if the poison ability profs with dagger storm, that wil be a quick way to cause panic and mayhem :D

What OcUK guilds will there be in GW2? The SWTOR thread had quite a few; is it similar this time around or have most people joined The Immortals?

If you browse back through the thread there are several guilds with OcUK presence, so not just that guild (I'm afraid to use the name in case the flamers come out to burn me!).

There's a separate thread with a list of guilds mate, cant remember off the top of my head.

This there is about 6 guilds, we have not picked up a huge amount more for GW2, we just seemed to have retained almost all if not all the guys we had in swtor, and that should tell everyone all they need to know ;)

Added gimme a sec will go power the pc up and link the thread for the guild list ...oh wait that something else The Immortals sorted as well

Well I was rolling with DaggerDagger/Shortbow - so anytime Shadowstep was on cooldown I was tucked in my zerg with the Shortbow out, I imagine I would spend a large portion of PvE content with the Shortbow out as well outside of a cooldown or an initiative dump with Deathblossom or w/e.

Didn't really try any the poisons, was rolling with shadowstep / scorpion wire / blinding powder as utility so I had 2x stealths and 2x blinks for ultimate gtfo-mode. Scorpion Wire I guess is what I'd swap in and out of that, but the novelty of pulling runners back or people off walls is just too amusing to pass up :(

I found more use for Scorpion Wire in WvW then sPvP, pulling enemies back into your zerg is really effective to secure kills! :)

Wow, came on to see how the game was looking this close to release and all I got was 2 or 3 seperate arguements lol. Gotta love forums sometimes haha.

So the game, is it going to be good good or is it just hype good??? I watched Total Biscuits final thoughts vid' on it recently and it does look nice but I guess I wont find out till I play it for myself.

People like to feel important and having a pop makes them feel that and really big :p
