Guild Wars 2

I went to lions arch, and through the purple teleporters, to get to the other starter areas so i could level up a bit more, but there are no hearts?.

Is that the way to level in other areas?

They are there, you just need to run around and discover them.

have no idea where to get some weapons!

There are weapon vendors all over the place, "Weaponsmith" over their heads.

The variety comes from switching weapon combinations. My ranger changes completely depending on weapons, I've found sword/dagger or sword/torch really good for dps, axe/torch for aoe, and switching between longbow and shortbow for general ranged damage.

Thank you, seemed small and just full of merchants?

Just venture further out into the map, i usually head for the first "point of interest" i see and come across either a heart or a DE by the time i get there, then it all just steamrolls from there.

EXPLORE YOUR CAPITAL CITY!

You get a huge chunk of exp for uncovering all the vistas and points of interest, and you find out about a lot of game systems that you would otherwise miss - the crafting, portals, skill trainers, food vendors, repairs merchants and so on.

GW2 is a game about exploring. You're almost always rewarded for picking a point and going "I wonder what's up there". If you race from heart to heart on the map you're going to miss out on an awful lot.

Perfect timing, Kashmir computer chair just arrived. Now i can really get stuck in over the next 2 days. Been using an old Parker Knoll wing-back chair since my other one broke and was killin' ma back.

I run a 7970 oc and a i5 3570k @4.2,I'm sure my rig will run it fine, but I have the occasional lan party and my mate ( who runs a old dual core Athlon @2.6 4 gigs of slow ddr2 and a 5770) would
Love to get this and I just wondered how it ran across most systems ;)

its a little bit sad reading some of the remarks about 'grind' or not knowing you are 'supposed' to craft .

the whole point of GW2 is youre not supposed to do anything you dont want to. if you want to craft then you go looking for a craft trainer. y'know, like in wow you log in and have to wander through stormwind and go into the houses to find the trainer.....oh whats that you say ? but i cant ask a guard to put a giant arrow in front of me? what are you guys a bipedal homo sapien capable of operating machinery, telling the time, reading, writing or a lab mouse. FGS ....

warcraft.. what has it done to people ... /sigh

Still loving my mesmer, so much fun. Not all about the DPS though I am missing that a bit. Every time a 'mentalist comes along and starts chucking fire all over the shop I suddenly feel inadequate :(

Already sick of the kids in this game. Telling other Europeans to f-off when in overflow, trolling each other, talking trash to girl gamers.
