The death of holy trinity is good
About damn time too.
It feels so cheap and rubbish to just instantly teleport around, across zones and from one capitol city to another, just to follow my personal Story quest. I miss travelling!Couldn't agree less.
Lack of defined roles means no one takes responsibility.
Lack of responsibility in turn equals the lack of giving a damn in general.
Generally not a good attitude to have when your trying to organise people.
Besides this isn't the thread to talk about the removal of the Trinity.
Needless to say, i was a fan, still am a fan and still 100% think every MMO needs defined roles.
I don't think it follows that 'getting everyone to do their own healing' = 'make playerbase more skilled'. You are undervaluing how important and skilled the healer archetype was in-itself. But anyway, that's one for another thread...
In terms of playstyle how do Engineers and Rangers compare?
From reading the blurb I'm guessing Rangers are more mobile, have multiple pet types, while Engineers sound more static and....perhaps more AoE based?
Spent the whole day lvling crafting and in the end went from average of 22/75 to 40/75, that's it, no more gathering for me, either I am doing something horrible wrong or crafting is mother of all grinds in gw2.

We're aware that players are having trouble getting into the same overflow map as their party members, and our developers are working on fixing this. In the meantime, try a workaround: right-click your party member's icon in the top left-hand corner of your screen and select "join". ~RB2
