Guild Wars 2

I did similar to you mate ^ got a few chars to 20ish and never came back, didnt experiance dungeons etc. So i reinstalled

Made a warrior, did the intro mission then the first heart quest was something about collecting eggs and putting them in nests, i sighed and closed the game

I understand mmos all have this faff but i wasnt in the mood for that lol

Is there a better way to approach this game other than the heart quests dotted about the map? I always felt like i was missing something originally too

you can do the dynamic events and when you get to level 15 or 20 you can do the shadow behemoth if you are human, if not then you will have to travel to queens dale and get to the swamp. However if you are in the asure starting area you can also try the fire elemental. the world bosses do take a while to respawn, so it probably best to go back to exploring and dynamic quests.

There is a slightly riskier option and thats playing WVW I hear levelling is pretty good there, just follow a commander and his minion players around and gain some XP, you are auto levelled to 80 but your gear doesn't do you any favors if you are under equipped.

hope this helps you :3

:D

Bios.6540 is my ID :) Know of any good GW2 pages to read to learn some aspects of the game i might need to know?

Just remembered, i'm actually in a guild (with one other person! lol! Guess no one else who was in that still plays either then.) will probably need to leave that first. :p

not necessarily, you can be in as many as you want, but if you want to access our guild stash with all the potions I made etc then you will just have to represent the guild. I will add you tonight. :3 Welcome to vanishing dragon

The first missions are always awfully drole sadly.

Noticed all my old lvl 1-5 characters all had presents with experience boosters in which put them all straight up to level 20 though, taht was a nice surprise!

wish I got those lol:D
Insanely lucky really being as my top character was level 22 when i last played, i've got a human, norn, asura, sylvari characters, just need to make a charr one and i'll have one of each at level 20 to choose from :D Nice to have a selection without feeling like i have to do loads of work over again.

Is it possible to transfer items between my own characters or is it only gold that's global? In GW1 you had chests that all your characters could access no matter what you put in them, is there an equivalent system in GW2?

anything can be transferred using your bank, unless its soulbound.

Perfect, see i've even forgotten the basics it's been so long! :D

Man i should really do some work instead of being sat here researching guild wars 2 haha :p

Same here, you want to come around to my home instance and compare breast sizes, and maybe a pillow fight?

Giggidy Giggidy.

:p

I was running about as a hugely stacked norn bloke before, but running around in a short skirt seems to be a far more engaging way to play the game, keeps my attention for longer :D

Yea i should be up for that :D I've not left Queensdale yet as i've just been running about doing the basics. Where will i need to get to?

Bestiality? :p

What time are you guys on tonight, I'll try and find you. Wouldn't mind joining a guild too if there are places?
