Guild Wars 2

This little fella noticed me in the crowd and wanted to high five !!

This game is so epic at times and perfect for the casual player, really glad I re-installed.

I played this for a bit soon after it was released, and never really got it unfortunately.

I got to about lvl 40 and just found myself wandering around looking for events to level myself up to the next part of my living story. Was I playing it correctly or was I missing something really obvious?

I enjoyed it first time round, I find the levelling changes strange and a bit irritating if I'm honest but I'm getting into it again. The amount of changes in around 6 or so month are staggering, especially the state of Lions Arch.

I remember getting GW2 on release day. Don't think I've got a single character past about level 25. As with others I just couldn't get into it.

I think I may have to delete all my characters and start again. That assumes I can build up the enthusiasm to play at all :)

I just reinstalled this two days ago after having realised how much i miss it.

I've had the game since release, created 5 characters instantly, played one of those to level 22 then for some reason i abandoned playing the game and haven't touched it in what must be nearly 2 years.....really want to get back into this and start playing with people. There an OcUK guild? Also any groups that go on TS?

I'm a complete and total newb (i've actually started on a fresh character so i can go from the beginning as i forgot the controls and how the story goes lol) so could do with a hand :p

I love games like GW2, no other MMO i could happily pick up again 2 years later and just play, i'd have to think about subscribing to a fee etc. None of that faff with this beauty. There feels like i've got so much to learn about how to actually play the game though.

EDIT: NEWTS! Didn't realise you play this!
EDIT2: I'm a human elementalist with a nice rack at the moment. Told the missus i modeled it on her...lol

Bios.6540 is my ID :) Know of any good GW2 pages to read to learn some aspects of the game i might need to know?

Just remembered, i'm actually in a guild (with one other person! lol! Guess no one else who was in that still plays either then.) will probably need to leave that first. :p

I did similar to you mate ^ got a few chars to 20ish and never came back, didnt experiance dungeons etc. So i reinstalled

Made a warrior, did the intro mission then the first heart quest was something about collecting eggs and putting them in nests, i sighed and closed the game

I understand mmos all have this faff but i wasnt in the mood for that lol

Is there a better way to approach this game other than the heart quests dotted about the map? I always felt like i was missing something originally too
