Guild Wars 2

Found a new headache.....atherblade path in the ta dungeon. Went through about 10 people leaving a joining before I gave up on the ooze puzzle . So damn simple yet no one seems to understand simple instructions >_<
 
Just playing around making a new secondary character....managed to get it to level 26 before even taking one step in the tutorial area :p crazy really!
 
I know that in Guild Chat the other night I said I was thinking of deleting my Lv.80 Necro and starting a Mesmer instead, but having seen what maybe in store for Necros in the upcoming HoT expansion I've had a change of heart. I think I'm going to give her a reprieve.

Bring on those Greatswords :D:cool:

So, Revenant looks like it will be god-tier for a while - to sell the expansion, and then Anet will probably nerf it hard 6 months after release. :p
 
I've made Guardian and Elementalist now to level 8 it is, but I'm still not sure on what to level properly first.. I like what Hammer Guardian can do, but I'm not sure I can cope with attacking so slowly :p The elemental feels good so far with the Scepter, and seems to have a very quick/fluid playstyle, just not sure I like being so squishy..

Eles are far from squishy if you do the usual D/D celestial build (you'll have to search for the exact build because I don't play ele). :)

Yeah guardian hammer auto chain is painfully slow, especially the third hit - but it is a fun weapon. I don't think many guardians use it tbh - most run greatsword, scepter/focus or maybe staff.
 
Yeah, I think I will just need to have a play with different things until something clicks. I like playing Support DPS type roles, so Guardian makes sense to me, but I cannot stand the GS atm

YES! I need some dungeon time. Last two days i've been running about not really sure of what to do...kind of got lots of things to do in the game but unable to decide, so i end up getting bored just running about.

And trying to find a suitable team for a dungeon that don't want "experienced professionals" lol, is hard work. You either get stuck with a team full of first timers who struggle and fail, or a team of overly experienced 100th timers who hate you for not knowing all the stack points.

At least if we do the ascalonian catacombs though i'll know what I'm doing :D I can't remember which path is which but I'm sure we'll take the surprises as they come haha

Just spent about 50 gold kitting myself out in full berserker gear, runes and sigils. Trying an elementalist build guide, better be worth it!
