Guild Wars 2

Found a new headache.....atherblade path in the ta dungeon. Went through about 10 people leaving a joining before I gave up on the ooze puzzle . So damn simple yet no one seems to understand simple instructions >_<

Lots of people have problems with the Aetherpath. It was adding in a long time after launch and is much more mechanically driven than other dungeon paths (bar Arah). They have a hard time understanding you can't just stack-murderkill your way through it!

It's one of the best dungeon paths in the game though, and what i'm hoping any new dungeons in HoT are like.

As for the Ooze room. Guardians with Wall of Reflect, Shield of Absorption, Sanctuary, Shield of the Avenger, and Line of Warding are Godlike :D Warriors with Stomp for a quick save, and Fear Me! to speed the Ooze to the end are also superb.

Managed to finish living world 2 dragons reach part 1, woooo.

Didn't realise you could LFG for living stories, made my weekend much happier! (So hard on my own, especially since I've forgotten how to ele. lol)

Is there still an ocuk guild or?

I'll try and be on every night, need to open up a lot of areas and crack on with some reading to see what I need to do...

Feel free to add me in game: psypher.4589

I shall add you both tonight :D
I am on gunnars hold, like a lot fo the guild
some others are on Desolation, but with the new megaserver that only effects WvW and dragon timers.

I tried a couple of dungeons with MrBios and No1Newts yesterday evening. It was good fun until I started lagging so bad I had to stop playing :(

And, I realised through the first dungeon run that I know nothing about this game :) I was basically just button mashing my way through!!

It's quite amazing how much there is to learn in the game, i thought "oh i've been playing dota for the past 2 years, this will be dead easy compared to that" i was wrong :p

Guides are definitely your friend. Although I've found myself in a bit of an elementalist conundrum now though...i've followed a guide to maximise my DPS, which has turned me into a glass cannon that gets easily taken down, but i quite enjoyed doing less damage and being more durable....

I am very durable, but it doesnt save you unfortunately, although i will say that I have enough healing power to keep all you guys alive :D

I remember the gw1 days of playing as an ele, completing the game in starter armour. Everyone hated me.

Just been looking at weapons and armour, and builds. Jeesh there's a lot of work to go into this!

Think I need to do some dungeon runs, learn the routes and make some dosh.

I still miss gw1 :(

It was so unique, no other PC game can be compared to it for its style of play, and i loved it! The story was wicked, the difficulty was just right (**** the mursaat!) .... the story sucked me in more than any other PC game has. All the other PC games i've played have been the old "do something, rinse repeat" sorts, like counterstrike and dota.

I know the feeling. Playing through the Stories at the mo and finding them a lot less gripping than the whole Rurik story in gw1 :(

Feels like there's too much text a lot of the time, i tend to phase out and just start clicking through the dialogue when I'm not in the mood to read it :( and the cutscenes that simply have two people talking either side of the screen are a bit boring....guild wars 1 used to have proper cutscenes which actually showed things happening! (The most laughable are where they try to portray an emotion, and the dialogue simply doesn't fit the body language of someone just stood still talking :p)

Or pronounce words. I keep hearing them pronounce Quay phonetically ... which REALLY bugs me.

I also miss GW1. Played it for about 2 years solid and bought all the expansions, though I only played the last one very sparingly. Think I'd moved on to WoW by then though. :)

Really happy that the guild is growing, I made the silly decision of buying 2 more slots, started a theif and a necro, will end up spending more just to get a slot for the revenant when its released lol.

Thankyou OCUK for all my new members :3
