Guild Wars 2

Sorry about last night guys, got caught out by the dreaded Blue screen of death:eek: and I had to look into it to make sure it wouldn't happen again, I hope you guys had a good run without me.:)

I ended up doing my daily's then getting side tracked by buying a hamster cage for my sons first pet and doing my monthly financial sort out so never actually got round to grouping up either :p

haha, I was left wondering where everyone went!! I had to leave at 10 anyhow, so wasn't worth starting anything at that stage.

it seems gw2 is the cause, I may not be playing for a few days while I investigate this guys

may fire this up again, what server are you guys on?

mainly gunnars hold and desolation, but with the mega server it only means you cant play WVW with ppl not on your server.

when you get back on and if you want into the guild just pop your name on here and I will add you:) oh and if I have missed anyone let me know,

That'd be neat, I'm probably going to go for 100% world completion at some point so that would be great.

Also need to farm the hell out of ascended materials, kinda want to make the berserker greatsword for the hell of it!

Oh yeah as a sidenote, do you guys use voice comms? If not I can host a mumble server or TS (whichever is preferred) on my server as I got plenty of resource spare :)

Guild Wars 2 Goes First-Person

Some big changes are coming to Guild Wars 2 with the upcoming Heart of Thorns release, but that isn't stopping ArenaNet from releasing some big things before then. March 10th will host a new patch that brings with it a handful of changes to the camera system in the game, including the much coveted ability to zoom into first-person.

The changes and new features for the camera include:

First-person camera - Zoom in all the way to experience first-person view with no restrictions on when or where it can be used.
Field of View - A new slider that will adjust how much of the world can be seen at once.
Position Slider - Now split between a horizontal slider (to give an over-the-shoulder view) and a vertical slider to control how high the camera can go when fully zoomed out (but will adjust when zoomed in to always keep the player character on the screen).
Character Height - The camera will now center on the character's head, giving Norn a lofty perspective over the other diminutive races. Can be toggled back to the old system if so desired.
Collision Sensitivity - Allows objects such as trees and rocks to exist between the character and the camera to prevent snapping camera movements.

If you can't wait the almost two weeks before these features come to the game, you might some relief in the Ready Up livestream on the official GW2 Twitch channel tomorrow, Friday 27th at Noon Pacific. The livestream will give a first glimpse of how the new camera system works before a blog post on the GW2 site outlines everything.

Ill join up with the guild if that's ok.

I'm on most days, if only to collect my blades from the chest (with two characters parked by it) and to get my daily login reward chest. I'm also trying to do all the paths of all the dungeons. I've played since release but still have not been to two dungeons yet!
