Guild Wars 2

Well you can jump into WvW at any level so no reason in wasting your boost.

This is technically true, but if you are below level 80 or in gear below level 80 you will be destroyed in any battle now, as you cannot use WvW to level up.

Taken from the April 19th patch notes

WvW—GENERAL
•Experience will no longer be awarded in WvW. •Tomes of Knowledge have been added to the Chests of the Mists awarded for ranking up in WvW and exist in the new WvW reward tracks.

The have added map rewards like they have in sPvP.

So tread carefully if you are going into WvW on a low level char.

The changes are true however its easier now I felt.

By WvW I'm referring to Edges of the Mist.

Within 45mins - 1hr I got 3 tombs of knowledge within EoTM

Did the TT wurn event last night, was good fun and surprised how well 150 randomers worked together to get it done.

Started working my way through the new zones, wasn't a fan of 0 hearts to start with but after spending 2 hours last night doing a map wide event resulting in going up into the sky to kill a Dragon it's not too bad.

Still getting my head around stuff being on multiple levels and needing certain masteries to access them.

Yeah that's weird. I have time now to play the game so I can actually play the game again :D

I played a bundle of PvP and WvW yesterday. Started off very poop, got much better after 4 hours :D

It gets better as you learn the routes. Also there's not just one boss in the canopy, there's 6 or 7. Achievements for killing each. Most people find the Wyvern Matriarch and assume that's it as it's in the centre, but there is also the Patriarch (up at the very top of the map), frog bosses up at top right, mordrem champs bottom right, axe master bottom left etc.

If your map can hold enough camps and kill all bosses before morning you'll get the map wide T4 reward and get some bladed armour skins :)

Have to admit I'm struggling working my way through Living Story 2. While I'm not getting killed it just feels really slow going, the new? Jumping things, the weird sparkly things you walk over that give you extra jump height or targeted leaps are just plain annoying. Haven't even looked at Heart of Thorns yet but I'm wondering if I should just park the ranger for the time being and level up a new character in the hope of picking it up properly again. Even the camera is really getting to me, seems to jump around all over the place.

Keep powering on, once you get to Silverwastes it's much better! Then you're prepped for HoT :D

Yeah I got that chest last night. First piece to go into the collection.

Race doesn't matter, it's just personal preference and which lore you are most interested in.

More down to Fashion Wars 2 now with most people, char imo don't look too good unless their in heavy armour or the 'pimp' outfit.

Fashion is end game in GW2! No point playing if you don't make heads turn ;)

Sylvari master race TBH.

Still enjoying playing, despite class balance issues and I'm glad they rotated back the Alpine borderlands for wvw.

Asura master race (has to be said).
