++Guitar Hero World Tour unoffical thread++

Playing through career at the moment and im finding it far too easy

Playing through the songs for the first time on expert im getting on average 98/99%. The only songs i've had slight trouble with is Sweet Home Alabama and the zakk wylde duel, which are both awesome btw.

Does it get harder?

Gonna sell mine. I hate the clicking of the strum bar. I play very loud and you can hear the clicking over 10 bars on the z5500's. The slider is crap compared to the solo buttons on the fender. Its much harder to find a starting point.

I'd rather use the standard Les paul on this game and just use the normal frets for solo's.

Worst guitar I've had yet.

10 bars? WHAT? Mine is loud at 5 nevermind 10, it can be heard downstairs ffs! Do you have anyone in the house when playing it that loud? At about 6 or 7 it really starts to hurt my ears :o Maybe you're going deaf with old age? :D

was going to ask my parents for GH3 for xmas but am just wondering if i would be better off getting this and buying 2 and 3 by themselfs at a later date, need to play some foo fighters sounds :p

Get RB1/2 then - full album Color and the Shape ias out on tuesday to download :p

/me shuffles back under RB rock...

Bit disappointed with it if im honest. Only playing on Medium so far but its far too easy. Going to crank it up to hard and see how I go. Thing is, I'm not enjoying playing the songs really.

Also think the Fallout Boy cover of Michael Jacksons Beat It would have been a better guitar hero choice, anyone agree?

Well put it this way, i've been awake since 5, working on 5 hours sleep, been working all day till 8....and i'm still getting 99% on everything. Hardest song i've played so far is a Neversoft cover of flight of the Bumblebee....96% first go =/

Definatley the easiest of any music game.

Edit: Whats with all the excitment thrown up all over the place about Tool, i'm falling asleep to them.

I regularly go above 10 even late in the evenings. During the day on my off days a bit higher. I like it loud and I like to feel the floor vibrate a little when playing.

My Mrs is usually in the house but she can sit in the living room, shut the door and not have it bother her too much.

Yet still I can hear the click click of the strum bar. Its a nice feel to it but the click is worse than the les paul. The star power button is a nice addition. The stick out guide button is rubbish as is the D pad it doubles as.

The neck joint has been fixed, its really good now.

I wouldn't recommend the guitar to anyone though who already has a les paul because you can play the solo sections by just pressing the normal frets with no strumming. It doesn't get any easier than that.

My GOD this is hard!

?? :O your joking right?
Its easier then GH3 at every single tier, on all difficulties, including bonus tracks :O

As for the guy asking for a benchmark of difficulty , overall i would say -> Rockband is the easiest, then GH WT, then GH3 as the hardest.
