I think were talking totally different difficulty levels here, you have done fire and the flames on expert - not many people, if any OTHER people on this forum have done that so of course you're going to find the game easy! If you were at this skill level and hadn't played GH3 before - Im sure you would find 99.9% of the game easy.
I'm not saying this game ISN'T easy, because 90% of it (for me) is - I'm saying that were all on different skill levels and we've all played GH3 before which has almost beefed us all up - I know it has for me as I was able to rocket through GH2 with only one song left to complete!

The thing that annoys me most about this game (and I know its sad) is the damn achievements! The fact that they're all effortlessly easy to get just isnt the slightest bit fun - the GH3 achievements were a challenge meaning they were fun to get but this is just stupid, I doubt I'll be playing this game for long TBH
Ive not finished ttfaf on expert .. only passed the intro once (but i did get it perfect! Woot), nor have i finished expert on GH3 (Raining blood, go die) .. this is so much easier then anything i expected, the only reason i rank rockband as easier as it only has one song i need to remain awake for (GGaHT) compared to 2 or so in GH WT.
My GF couldnt finish easy on GH3 and shes already 70% through medium on GH WT .. its a complete joke.
That was the hardest song for me.
Tried drums yet creature? I was offered £40 trade in for the game and guitar at a highstreet store lol. I will auction it I think as it will atleast let me unlock the career over the week before it's sold.

Not tried the drums yet, been playing the guitar all day trying to get it out the way. Will probably try them over the next few days.

My biggest gripe, difficulty aside, so far is that it seems as if the note chart is detatched from the song in a major way? Anyone else noticed? it just doesnt seem to fit like GH2/3 .. it seems like they just shoved random note charting in for each title except B.Y.O.B
Thats exactly what I said earlier on, the long lines of the same notes in some songs seem totally off the beat.
With RB you could look away and hit the notes but the music. In this you couldn't get close to doing that.
I'm gonna keep the game I think and play it from time to time for the odd song but they have some catch up to do now.

Does anyone know if the world tour drums will work with rockband 1? If so how will that work because they are layed out in a different order aren't they?
Why does it cost money to unlock venues. I've played the tour, I've finished songs and now I have to save my pennies as well. How pointless is that.

Playing the guitar is ****. Seriously bad. GH3 could easily put a smile on my face to play. The songs worked well and even if you hated the song you can enjoy the way the note placement worked.
This just doesn't work at all. I played the blink 182 song on hard and the chords are a peice of ****. If the speed and chords where on gh3 I would 100% the song. The chords dont fit the song on this and you lose pace because the layout is so woefull.
The solo sections are pretty damn poo compared to another band game. You dont get that rush of adrenaline when you nail one because of the poor layout.
I think noobs to the band game will quite enjoy it because its very forgiving.

Cheers for the feedback, I love GH3 and have tried the demo at a couple of places for Rock Band. Just not too sure if I should sink so much money for Rock Band when RB2 is around the corner + the guitar isn't wireless... Drumming is a good gimmic to mess around with though.
