++Guitar Hero World Tour unoffical thread++

The only remote challenge i've had in the carrer is the Zakk Wylde battle, and that's becuase I use hyperspeed...which is bloody hard when the chart goes that small.

I'm bored of it already to, but I will finish the guitar carrer, hopefully drums are marginally better.

I think were talking totally different difficulty levels here, you have done fire and the flames on expert - not many people, if any OTHER people on this forum have done that so of course you're going to find the game easy! If you were at this skill level and hadn't played GH3 before - Im sure you would find 99.9% of the game easy.

I'm not saying this game ISN'T easy, because 90% of it (for me) is - I'm saying that were all on different skill levels and we've all played GH3 before which has almost beefed us all up - I know it has for me as I was able to rocket through GH2 with only one song left to complete!

EDIT:

The thing that annoys me most about this game (and I know its sad) is the damn achievements! The fact that they're all effortlessly easy to get just isnt the slightest bit fun - the GH3 achievements were a challenge meaning they were fun to get but this is just stupid, I doubt I'll be playing this game for long TBH :(

Well I'm a hard player on GH3/2. I can get through 3/4's of the hard setlist on both games.

This is easier than even aerosmith. I know it's a band game but they have totally forgotten what they did so well with GH3. I always stand to play these games. WIth this one I want to lie down. Forget the reason being because I've had more practice. I can go back to some early tiers in gh2 and fail them still.

Forget the other band game no one wants to mention, this isn't even as good as the other GH's.

The note positioning is pants. You get a line of notes and it doesn't feel like your playing a part of the song, it feels like your randomly hitting the frets while music plays in the back ground.

I named my band 'rockbland' it's amazingly apt. I almost fell asleep playing bland on the run.

13 songs into career and i've only missed notes when i've glanced out the window to see if the grass has grown since the last time I looked.

The worst starting setlists of any of these games i've played.

I can understand why they will want to make the game appeal more to a bigger audicence but if they keep this up they will kill off the fan base they had.

Absolutely gutted. I will keep the game as i've kept the other GH's but it will be a struggle just to get through the career.

Completley agree Danny, except on the last bit, this will be getting traded very very quickly.

You know I was sitting here considering just taking the lot back to the atore to see what credit they would give me for the lot. The guitar weighs 2.5kg boxed and would cost me £9 to post according to my post office.

I might just get shot and forget all about the gamer points :D

Oh well, yeah I agree its far too easy which does make it a disappointment in my book - the only reason I really want it now is for the instruments because I prefer them to rockbands. I guess I'll stick to getting more achievements on GH3 then :(

Danny have you deleted me from your friends list?

Honestly do you prefer the guitar on this one to any that have gone before. I wasn't a fan of the fender but the solo buttons on the WT guitar is woefull. Its easier to just use the Les paul, plus the solo buttons dont work on rock band.

Easines aside, the majority of the songs are dull in my opinion, it's really not a fun game to play. I couldn't give a stuff about the achievements on this but I agree with Roachycal that they're also very easy to get compared to the earlier games.

Ok then its the drums I'm paying £150 for.... I wont use the mic - the guitar god knows, it looks great but it seems like a more pimped version of the les paul which doesn't have neck problems! I suppose I'm getting another free les paul with the package too.

Has anyone tried bass yet? I'm starting to find it a lot more fun than GH3 bass :p

Well danny, have you deleted me from XBL?

Wow,

i think its fantastic!

Setlist is superb so far, loads of variation, not just rock stuff

Michael jackson, willie nelson, interpol, oasis, only 10% in but loving it.

And i like my games easy
