++Guitar Hero World Tour unoffical thread++

I'm finding this fun to play through so far. One thing I have found is that it is a lot easier than GH3. I was ok at 3, could complete most of the career on hard, but couldn't do some of the final set list, such as Disturbed and Metallica 'One'. On GHWT I have managed to do pretty much all of it on expert mode so far, except the Ted Nugent guitar battle when I had to drop the difficulty to hard. Very fun game though, and I like the track list.
 
How is everyone finding their GHWT drums?

I have Rock Band 1 drums but they are a bit temperamental now (at least I have convinced myself they are) and I really like the idea of wireless drums. However I know people have had problems with the GHWT ones, so, what is the verdict?
 
i like them now i fixed the sensitivity, having the symbol makes it feal more like playing the drums, and the main drums make a good noise when u hit them :p
 
Does anyone think the drums will ever be sold seperately?

What do you think is a good price for them? They seem to be going for about £60+£20 postage on auction :(

I bought the Game and guitar for £32.99 (traded in Skate and MGS4) but I don't really want to spend £80 on the drums :(
 
my drums have just broke :( red drum has stoped registering, have to wack it really really hard to get it to work, bit strange as it was working then next song loaded and it just didnt register at all. reading on the net it seems a common problem. :(
 
Hi all, black friday is here,

just bought this game last night and for the life of me I could not get the vocals / mike to work. The game says - "insert mike into a USB slot" , when my mike is already in there ( tried all 3 and my HD drive and cam work fine ). Any thing I have missed in the last 18 pages to solve this terrible pre Xmas gaming FAIL ? :)

You have to have the mic inserted unto USB slot and a controller switched on !
 
Been playing the game on Hard mode and find it really easy so far. That is up until i came to the Steely Dan song. I can get the notes but the strummer isn't natural enough for me to pick i end up down strumming.

You're definately correct there, nearly completed it on Hard guitar (just a few songs to mop up) and I wasn't in trouble at any point, ever.

Quite disappointed with the tracklist too, tbh. The sheer amount of crud is unbelievable - definately a far better tracklist on Rock Band 2, until I download the Death Magnetic pack anyway.
