Yup its a shame Alex Roy's not in his Beemer but the reason for that is because the fuel pump went and they had a few niggles and couldn't get it finished in time for the start.

I think Antandpete wanted to upgrade to stay competitive. Alex Roy had even had a large fuel cell added to boost his range to 800 miles per tank...
 
Was up there yesterday and got a decent spot next to the white 612 driven by Max Cooper. Was pretty good seeing all the celebs, esp Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn.

Does anyone know what the white Le Mans style car was? It was running a motorbike engine. Also, was the white 2.7 carrera RS running a non standard engine.....cos it definitely sounded like it!

My favourite cars there were the F50's, the MC12, the Carrera GT and the insanely loud Murcielago with the numberplate TOY.

Its a mean looking machine but I can't help but think that maybe somebody has gone too far with bodykit to the extent it looks a bit tacky/plasticy too.

The Saleen is just right, its a very subtle bodykit. :)

The Gallardo is owned by Lamborghini London, they just let the police put stickers on it for the display today. The plod don;t even get to drive it.

In my view it looks very good. Its a big car to start off with so the extra body kit looks well on it. Huge body on kits on normal cars just dont go together.

Love the extended arches. Suit the wide tyre's very well. Not sure about all the lines going on at the bottom of the door though.

Overall I think its a great looking car. Colour suits it well with the 2 'not so' thick racing stripes gonig down the car.

Ouch. Looks like they hit a barrier of some sorts. Strange to see the front right end ripped off and so with the back right end. Scrapes across the bonet looks like they have hit something thats gone across it.

Anyone got any news on what happened?

Love the White 612 that Max is driving. Does he get these cars giving to him or buys himself then Auctions them off at the end?

I have to say, I had the Green 430. I think it looks horrible.

The main 'prize' is the spirit of the gumball, for the team who went through the most to get to the end or captured the essence of the rally best during the 8 days.

Yea, as said before the award to get is the 'Spirit' of the Gumball prize. Usually goes to those you hav'nt got the fastest, best looking car but make it in the end. Some like to get there first and going fast. Some just like to have a laugh and have a good experience.

Anyways, Ive found the cause of the Dodge Viper Crash! :p
