In my opinion it is worse to say racist/ offensive remarks online than in public, because you do not have a bubble around your head all day saying you hate someone because they are black in real life.

A few comments on the internet and all the weaklings who got bullied at school start calling for someone to be jailed.
Anyone who genuinely thinks this is clinically insane.
The problem is that the internet, despite what a bunch of retards believe, is still not real life, its a virtual world, and the morons that run this countrys judicial system have no clue what they are doing.
If someone makes a few comments who cares? Just ignore it and get on with your life.
The people who are "offended" on behalf of a person who would not know whats going on as he is fighting for his life, are really bringing this country to its knees.

Nobody is offended on behalf of the person. People are offended by the crass stupidity and bigotry of the comments this guy is supposed to have made. I find it offensive because it offends me, not Fabrice Muamba. It offends me because some absolute knuckle dragging half wit thinks it's funny to make light of somebody else's misfortune, be them black, white, yellow, brown or pink.
I followed this a bit last night on Twitter and the guy went to great lengths to say it wasn't him and how his account was hijacked. Yet looking at his posts over the past few days, the conclusion that he really is a small minded bigot would not be too wide of the mark.

No you aren't. You're both deceitful and cowardly. Deceitful because you're opposed to freedom of speech and claiming you're in favour of it. Cowardly because you're not standing behind your views and defending them honestly - you're hiding behind popular support for freedom of speech while opposing freedom of speech.
Except I live in a country where I could legally walk down the street with an AR15 on my back and a giant sign that says "ALL **** SHOULD DIE!".
