Guy got arrested for making racist comments on twitter about Muamba

Fair enough, some of that is certainly racist, but I still think the media is overhyping that and worse is probably said on the Internet and twitter every day...

I think it's more to do with the fact that he can't even set his racism aside for a man on the brink of death, and couldn't wait to broadcast his views in what has repeatedly been shown to be a public forum whether we like it or not.

Is it wrong that he was arrested? No.
Is it excessive punishment? Possibly, but he's not exactly helped himself.
Makes me want to sign up to headbook and ******* and start making inappropriate comments.
Do it. Then if you and everyone else who wants to do that get arrested then maybe 'headbook' and '*******' won't be such a horrible place to go ;)

Nope it's perfectly legal in a lot of states. Probably not advisable to troll cops like that, but legal.

So it's not quite the untrammelled right that you were suggesting if it's only in certain states and potentially with restrictions.

I think he's trying to suggest that sickle cell anemia is more prevalent in "black" people and that Tay Sachs is more prevalent in Jews but really your guess is as good as mine on this one. I'm not claiming full understanding here but it seems a rather dubious basis to categorically state race exists from since the link seems to be most likely to be passed down familial lines rather than anything else. However maybe someone with greater knowledge would like to clear the matter up?
