H&M Racism storm

I actually think all these people who get offended about things like this are the ones who are racist, because they are the ones who have the twisted racial connection in their brains.

OK, H&M probably thought they were ticking all the PC boxes by having a black kid, it kind of backfired. It would be hilarious if it was not so tragic. :(

People thinking it's an easy link to make haven't seen a Rhesus Macacque then. What species are we talking about, exactly?

Christ.

Yet again something innocent being twisted to be offensive.

I'm not sure the type of people using the word monkey as an insult have thought that much into it, you're giving them undue credit, I doubt they can spell Rhesus, or Monkey.

I used to love this TV show.

The people complaining about this are also racist because they are saying that a black person can't wear that hoodie (because that would be racist) but a white person can, which makes them racist as well. I mean why can't a black person wear whatever hoodie they want without people complaining on their behalf?

At least his mother seems to have a good level of common sense regarding all this nonsense.

Some people will look for anything to call "racist". They must be racist themselves for it to be in their thoughts all the time tbh. If it was a white kid they would still say it's racist for not being "inclusive" or whatever.

A bit like being homophobic while being in the closet yourself.

people forget that it is [current year] and "racism" can be called out regarding anything to do with race if the person being called out is white

move out = white flight = racism
move in = gentrification = racism
see colour = racist
don't see colour = ignoring racism = racist
don't partake in culture = non-inclusive = racism
engage in culture = appropriation = racism

That's racist to suggest that trivial things can be called out as racism!

But yea, people need just start ignoring social media. Especially the government. It's full of people who bandwagon on anything to make themselves feel special.

Until those who would cast accusations upon people start getting sued in court for slander then it won't get any better.

You want to accuse someone of the latest "ism"? Then you better have proof or you'll be slapped down and fined.
