yeah still plays very poorly...ive updated my drivers and the usual things. I also have it on high performance too with it being a gaming laptop

18 hrs played so far got my money's worth and love playing it...why don't you look at other sources then decide ya self instead of asking on here. And also Neil instead of saying only no why not give an explanation (other than pay2win) since that's all people go on about

Is your GPU actually being used?
Reason I say this is because Rust used to run awfully on my gaming laptop as it kept using the onboard CPU graphics rather than using the GPU

I don't recommend getting it. Reason being is that I am fed up of buggy alpha games and would rather try the retail release when it is free.

The rate at which they are fixing things is actually pretty impressive.
I quickly jumped on and noticed some improvements tonight with another patch to go live to fix the loot not spawning in containers.
All credit to them they are working faster than any other dev team I have seen.
Still it's an alpha game but from what i've seen so far you could certainly call it a beta. Over 28 hours played, 1 crash from a GPU overclock and it's been solid. Zombies were bugged to begin with and are slightly better now.
Sadly I can't play for too long as it gives me a stinking head ache after a while, something to do with the FOV. Most FPS games give me it apart from BF4 oddly enough.

Low FOVs cause me to get a headache as well as excessive head bob.
Ironically BF4 is the only game where I get headaches regardless of the FOV.
I dont think SOE will take them out of Easy Mode til the laggy AI is fixed.

The issue that lacks in all these zombie MMOs is actually deadly zombies. One on it's own is a piece of cake however when there are multiple it's going to be interesting. Already like the "homing" feature where even if you setup in the woods it still attracts them here and there.

Well I got a refund from Steam on Sunday afternoon, instant £14.99 back in my steam wallet and can still play. Not really worth the risk though.
