I can't see the last one but 3rd down is best.
You look like a little thug with your hair short and although how you "look" to people may not bother you, it would explain why old ladies' get scared when they walk past you in the street.

I have had it long before. When I was in my early teen angst Nirvana bleached-look stage. Took ages to clean it and style it though. Don't wanna have to do that again. And I didn't have a receding hairline then. I don't want to look like I've covering it up, cos I don't really care about it, I just want to avoid looking a nonce, which I think I would with long hair.FincH said:Try and grow it long. Seriously though a bit of water/gel isn't THAT big a deal, your short hair is short enough almost not to warrant any! I never use any gel or anything like that - then again I have no style...

It's never been an issue for me despite being receeding - I just think having a bit of hair on your head looks a bit more debonair than the slaphead look.
