Nope, I mean painless killing, off which there are several methods. Which atm, is carried out by a couple of abotiores and should be extended.

When you don't need the heart beating when you slice them, you can dispatch them by methods that are utterly painless.

Walk in to a Asian takeaway or restaurant and they have been Halal for ever I can remember. So yes I'm up to date. It's only lately the likes of KFC, subways and other places have decided to have Halal.

So if eating in a Asian takeaway or restaurant wasn't a problem for the non Muslim world. Why is it a problem today?

Then don't eat in a place that is Halal certified.

I know Jews who go out on a Friday night, get ****ed and get takeaway on way home. You wouldn't know they were Jewish as they wear normal clothes, not the silly hat and beard.

It's not only Orthodox Jews who follow Kosher...none of the Jewish people I know eat Pork...they wear normal clothes, get ****faced and eat takeaways...but that doesn't mean much as most of the takeaways are kosher by default.

Jesus I know that, my point is I might of enjoyed subways and I am now forced to find another sandwich shop on principle. What is so hard to understand?

Personally I don't like the thought of animals I've raised going to be slaughtered in a way that causes any more distress than is required. If I've taken care of these animals and looked after them well then I trust the slaughter house they are going to to do the same.

Some people still don't seem to grasp why we are making a fuss about this...

Being concerned about animal welfare is correct and admirable, it is not wrong or racist to oppose halal slaughter because you consider it cruel. We have a problem with the individuals, groups and newspapers who have never shown much concern over animal welfare before but are suddenly crying crocodile tears over halal. Their agenda clearly has little to do with animals

If you seek out Halal you are nothing but a scumbag with no morals or humanity in you. Why would you want an animal to die in pain and loss of blood. You have all the tools needed to make it painless and fast yet refuse because aparantly god wants the animals like that.
