If I right click on the game and go to properties in STEAM it says 606MB, not sure if that is definately the amount you'd need to download from scratch though.

Enjoying it so far :)
 
mine says when the game officially released you will be able to play it immediately but i cant and my callender rite as wel
 
It costs $20 over here - just not worth it for me, even tho HL2 is one of my all-time faves. If it was $10 I would probably give it a shot - I refuse to pay $20 tho. Hell, I can get a brand new, full, DS game for $30.....I know which makes more sense to buy.
 
it comes to £10.70 before tax, how much extra is the tax on it?

EDIT - Gits refuse to take my card, says the address is wrong, oh well, guess i'll have to pay the extra and get it in town, anyone know how much it will be extra in the shops?

I think its £19.99 but not 100%.

I think there must be some kind of problem, because earlier both my cards failed and are doing so now.. Even though everything is correct.. Ah well.
 
damn i love the HL series

i've just passed the section where Alyx / Alex had the combine sniper gun, and now i've got a rocketeer following me and just spoke to a guy in green top :)

oh good im glad im not the only one then, i'll try again tomorrow, really want this, and wouldnt mind saving £7 from gettin it online
 
An amazing game, took me just over 2 hours and 40mins odd to play it!! In sock and just hooked :E better than FEAR ... i think so :D

£15.99 for me, so only a £4 difference from downloading through Steam. I'm happy to pay that for the purpose of having a physical disk and case etc, though if I'd had a credit card, I would have downloaded it. :)
 
For the people who don't think its worth it, trust me it is. Get it now!

Loving every minute so far. The HDR is quality too.

I'm getting a constant 60 fps all maxed 6AA and 16AF @1280x1024 with an ATI X1800XT 512MB and it looks the dogs danglies :D
