OK guys downloaded this earlier this evening, and I'm getting an error on launch.

Error said:
MountAppFilesystem() failed: You don't have all GCFs needed to play this game.

Interesting, as it launches fine from Steam, and the installation of BASE+HD+9.51 went smoothly with no errors etc.

Any guesses?

Do you own episode 1 and 2?

If not you need them for this to run.

Going to down this, but at the mo, ive got Version 4.5 on, as i didn't have 4gb Ram and was still on XP 32bit at the time i got it (as higher versions needed 64bit OS's and more than 2gb), but only trouble is, theres no way (that i can find) of uninstalling it, so with that version still on, could i still install this latest one and run/play it without probs.

Yep, should be able to uninstall over the top...think theres a mod folder it hides in so could delete that too. Nowadays with the newer version theres an uninstaller.

theres an older version that only needs ep 1

(but you do miss some graphical goodness that relies on the ep 2 engine.

How do i get this mod to work? i dowloaded all the files and the new update,
i installed it, i got hl2 and epi 1 an epi 2, and they are installed.
when i click on Windows Start button -> All programs -> FAKE FACTORY CM9 the game loads but i dont see the new Alyx, what im i doing wrong?

Load the Character Pimper and choose the characters
