Given the RTX remix is 'just' a well backed community mod, the release date for it could be anywhere from 6 months to 6 years

which one do you think Ep3 or SC out first?Even if it's 6 years, it will still be out faster than Episode 3 / HL 3

It'll probably run like a dog on Nvidia gfx cards too. Better start saving for that 5090.
I never got Portal RTX to run on my 4090. Always about 1 FPS in the menu so too laggy to change the advanced settings to turn on DLSS/FG. Every mouse click In the menu would turn into a sound loop for a minute or so.

I've been re-playing HL2 recently, and I'm massively enjoying it. It's great, a timeless masterpiece. I'm playing using a Switch Pro Controller with Gyro - I'd usually be a M+K user but this is working well.
I've had a bizarre bug where near the end of Water Hazard you bring the 'boss' helicopter down. It landed on the bridge you need to pass and made it impassable. I spent a good while being stuck before viewing a video online to reveal the bridge is supposed to be passable... or am I missing something?
