1st April now, must be getting a few orders for this because of this game. Thinking about it but if i was getting queasy watching the video above i'd probably be blasting a hole through my screen via projectile vomit in actual vr.
Seems a bit odd that 90fps is recommended for vr and this is 10fps below that, think even the previous version had a 90hz rate?
90 FPS was recommended when the Rift had a 90Hz refresh rate. What makes you sick in VR is when your frame rate drops below the refresh rate, that's why Oculus decided to reduce the refresh rate by 10hz to make it easier for lesser systems to keep up in VR.
And don't judge it by the video. The game can be as hard or as easy on the stomach as you would like it to be. There are options that make it more comfortable. Plus, it doesn't take long to build up your VR legs.
