even if the graphics don't distract too much for the gameplay ... how can you rate the game 10 ? Surely it should loose a point for the graphics ?

I played on 5.1 earlier on my home theatre setup (normally use my 24 inch Dell + PC setup) - and I have to agree the main gun sounded very muffled - perhaps they mucked up the levels in the 5.1 encoding ?

since when has a game lost a mark for not having the best graphics out there?
some of the best games ever like deus ex haven't had awesome graphics and they haven't been marked down because of it.
 
When reviewing games the final score should always be about how much entertainment they provide. It's never an average and 10/10 does not mean 'the perfect game'.
 
Can someone help me out with an online problem please!

I really struggle to find matchmaking games to play online. If a friend is playing then i can join their session in progress with no probs, but if i want to search for a game it is very rare that any other players are found! Iv tried to play all day today and havnt found a single game!

Bit of background, i hook my xbox up to xbox live via my computer using the ethernet cable which comes with the console! Iv switched my firewall and windows firewall off!

In the game, i will go into matchmaking, select the network as social slayer, then begin the matchmakiing! From then on in it just says "looking for players" in all of the slots and at the side it says "Games found; 0" and "Possible matches; 0"

I read somewhere that it could be to do with my NAT settings, but running the connection check through the xbox shows that it is set to open!

So.......does anyboy have any ideas why i cant find a single online game to play? Any input would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks :(
 
Should i play the single player game ?

Ive just got the sergeant rank on multiplayer and not even though about single player yet shall i carry on ranking up or shall i play the SP ?
 
completed it today kinda dissapointed with the ending unless theres more after the credits might finish it agian later and check
 
a couple of questions for you halo 3 experts please :)

(1) How do you host a game thats open to "anyone" ?

(2) How can you search for specific multiplayer games ? IE King of the hill ?

(3) why does the matchmaking seem to work for me for ranked matches - but not social ones ? (ie BIG social never works for me ?)

(4) is that cool globe map - really true where people are playing - or fake ?
