slightly shorter i think, you probably wont notice though. it all depends what difficulty you do it on and how much you rush it.

I feel stupid, do I need to play ranked games for my medal thingy to go up? It's just one little gold arrow at the moment.

Where are all the good games at? In the beta I was getting my ass handed to me, now I'm handing it out so I'm getting the feeling I'm playing in the easy rooms.

That's experience. It goes up as you play any games online I think. Play ranked free for all. Everyone upto level 12 so far is a walk over.

It will go up in social games as well, you still earn xp. However your matchmaking skill only increases by winning ranked games. You need to have a skill ranking in order to access some of the higher ranks from Liutenant onwards.

Can someone help me please? I found a skull right near the start of the 1st level, and picked it up - but dont know what to do with it. I was expecting an achievement, but didnt get it. Also, i carried it all the way to the end of the level, and still didnt get an achievement or anything...what am i doing wrong?

That's a silver skull, no achievement for it sadly. The one you want is right at the end of the level. Theres a couple of guides all over the web, which are pretty easy to find.

You don't get achievements for silver skulls. Start a campaign and press x to change the settings. Do you see a silver skull at the bottom (solid, not greyed out)?

You just press Y to drop it again. Not sure why you didnt get an achievement I missed the first few.

Just about the start the final level, the 2nd from last level did my head in. Fighting off those zombie things armed with a slingshot and pea shooter.

I know it makes sense, but I hate having to find my way back through a level the way I came. I ran in circles on that level for about an hour.

How the hell can you say this game has bad graphics???? Do you wear glasses and forget to wear them everytime you play halo 3? :rolleyes:

I finally completed halo 2 campaign on the PC today and went straight to halo 3 campaign and i cant believe there are people that say the graphics arent much different im sorry but its like night and day. The draw distance and ammount going on in huge firefights with pelicans etc its just phenominal

Stop being a troll FFS, they arent appreciated here. I suggest getting your eyes checked out at specsavers

...seems like you have bad eyesight...the gfx on Halo3 arent that bad...In fact i cant even remember whether Bungie/M$ said that the gfx on Halo3 are going to be out of this world...so why the hell people still moan about the gfx is really beyond me. If you buy a game or play a game just for the gfx then you have some serious issues because in reality, nice gfx look good but they dont neccesarily make a game even better do they??.

i just finished the single player,i enjoyed it.I thought it got abit repetitive near the end but i felt satisfied when i finished it.I finished it on normal and found some bits hard so i don't think i will tackle legendary

I have to say I dont think the gfx's are upto much either. Maybe its the 1900x1200 screen but compared to other games i've played on the 360 i'd say they are ok.

But I'm so glad I re-visted this game. The single player game was probably the most enjoyable I've played this year. Well this or the darkness.

It's never been a franchise I've been interested in but its made me want to play the others.

The final level in the hog, thats the sort of thing gears was badly lacking.

I dont think I will sell this game

I thought the graphics were superb for the amount of action there is at times,sumtimes with other games the graphics are stunning but soon as there is a lot happening everything starts to slow down abit ect.Those scarab things i thought were excellent the nice suprise when they appeared.
