agreed.

can someone help me out. i think i am being really dumb, if i want to start a party how do i do it? do i just goto custom games? also if i want to start a camapaign to co op do i need a party first before i start?

also anyone want to co op tonight? i can be on most of the night, currently on level 3 legendary...

Just start any lobby and invite your friends, all lobby's in Halo 3 allow you to invite your friends, but in your case just start a campaign lobby and send invites :)
 
Anyone else having trouble with a disk unreadable error?

In single player, I have played through the bit where you recover the AI girl, and then got out of the place to the point where you jump on the ship. Cut scene starts, ship takes off, them boom, disk unreadable error. suggests cleaning the disk and restarting console. The disk is 3 days old, doesn't have any visible damage, and cleaning/rebooting makes no difference. I'm not that bothered because so far multiplayer works fine, but it's a bit annoying that I'll never see the end of the game.

I've read in other places that people have had similar problems, and replacement disks do the exact same thing,

Anyone else heard anything?

Problems with any other games?
I had a replacement console from Microsoft when it started happening?
 
lol, had to laugh last night as my son who is only 12yr old sent me a film clip of him and his mates playing Halo Baseball with the gravity hammer as the bat and rockets as the ball.

In my gaming lobby ;)

Once I have perfected it I will share it for all, that and the other game types I have been working on.

This means getting it to work naturally on all levels*, with minimal tweaking


*that are worth playing this gametype on

Yesterday I was gonna sell this game played a few online games and I just couldnt get a kill then I set it to best connection and I got a lot more kills, great fun with the usual people off here and enjoying single player, but did the last of first mission at 2 am and started the 2nd mission and it never saved the game when I turned my 360 off so had to do it all again, I mean you think it would save automatically after finishing the level

I might capture the footage onto my PC for a montage, it will be very easy to do as the 360 outputs via VGA.
 
I presume it works in the same way as StarCraft replays and replays in every other FPS I've played where it's just based on controller inputs being run in the game engine. An update to the game engine even as small as a bullet doing 1% more damage would completely screw up replays so they no longer accurately replay the original game.

To keep a copy of the old game engine and using that whenever you watch an old replay would be hell to maintain and the warning about future updates rendering data useless when you upgrade to the pro account all point towards my theory.
 
Thought that much was obvious to everyone? Only way I can see us keeping them would be for Bungie to work something out which I seriously doubt will happen. Then again how many major update did Halo 2 receive? not that many that I remember.

I can live with it since I will more then likely get a more amazing kill then my last amazing kill.

E.g In Halo 2 about a year ago I managed to get a killtacular by sticking 1 guy in the face and he ran into a team mate then I did the same again on my opposite side getting 4 kills for 2 sticky grenades. A few months later a simlar thing happened where I stuck 1 guy and he ran into his entire team :p (which also happened in Gears of War too :D)
