Do your own research, this isn’t the thread for it.Wasn't this based on the fact that people who live in poverty are more likely that ethnicity?

Ouch... did he beat you at Karting when you were both kidsSo the Tax dodger wins sports personality of the year .
Wasn’t really any completion was there - much like the last few F1 seasons then .

I'd wager that he pays far more UK tax than you do, unless you are also in the top 5000 of UK tax payers.
It's crazy how many people think he doesn't pay any tax or that he did anything different than any other successful British F1 driver hasn't done
I remember a recent interview with Hamilton. He says he pays tax in Monaco, he pays tax in the UK, and he pays tax in every country he races at.

Yep I’m Sure he does . But why on earth you want live in Monaco if your a multimillionaire playboy is beyond me .
Only one reason you live in Monaco and it’s not because of it being overcrowded , no sense of community , boring and ridiculously expensive . It’s zero personal tax for living there for 6 months and a day .
I’m not questioning his ability to drive , although I did last week when Russell got in the car , but he’s a total hypocrite.

He does. Yet people want him to pay double tax on things it seems.
Or that perhaps there is not paparazzi culture there and typically the rich and famous probably get to live a relatively normal life (for them) rubbing shoulders with other rich and famous people.
Fine then don’t come back to the UK knocking on the door for a knighthood.
Exactly the same thing happened with Mo Farrah- another hypocrite. I’m glad the US made him feel unwelcome .

I’m sure Hamilblub will get his knighthood to go with his MBE , I just won’t be calling him Sir .
and I'm sure he's going to be distraught that @Bald-Eagle22 on the OCUK forums wont call him Sir!"When I think about that honour of being knighted, I think about people like my grandad who served in the war," said Hamilton on the potential accolade.
"Captain Tom waited 100 years for that great honour, and then you have these doctors and nurses, who are saving lives during this hardest time ever.
"I think about those unsung heroes and I don't look at myself as an unsung hero. I haven't saved anybody. It is an incredible honour that a small number of people have bestowed on them.
Stewart moved to Switzerland in 1968 to avoid punitive UK taxes. In the 1990s, the tartan-wearing “Flying Scot,” as he was known, returned to live in Britain so he could establish a Grand Prix team.
He retained his Swiss tax domicile, he told the Sunday Times in 1997. His company, Stewart Grand Prix, was based in Britain but was owned via a Jersey trust for the benefit of Stewart’s family.
In 1999 he sold his team to Ford, turning an initial 1 million pound investment into a 76 million pound sales price, according to company filings. Because the team was held by an offshore trust, and because Stewart was a non dom, this gain was not subject to UK taxation. Stewart declined to comment.

Who said he's been asking for a Knighthood? It's been people saying he deserves to be knighted... bit of a difference. If anything he said he doesn't deserve one...
and I'm sure he's going to be distraught that @Bald-Eagle22 on the OCUK forums wont call him Sir!
Do you have the same problem with Jackie Stewart or do you willingly call him Sir?
Don’t really know his tax history but if he’s another dodger than no I wouldn’t.
If you think his PR team hasn’t been winding this up for over a year now then your very naive , of course he’s been asking for it .
I’ve said this from the start BLM should be kept out of sport , it’s a political movement. Standby for more of it when he gets his gong.
Hamilton isn't into politics, he only wants to save lives and race cars.
A minority want him to stay quiet but it's a free world - you can't tell people want to do and he ain't listening to nobodies anyway.
Lots of people with illusions of grandeur where they think their opinion actually matters.
