I really like Hamster, comes across as a top bloke. Here's hoping he pulls through. Thoughts are with his family too.

I'm sure they'll show it if he makes a full recovery, I bet he'd want them to.

I know :( I'm trying to keep my spirits high by thinking of a positive future.

I'm sure he'll be out of ICU within a week, and with plaster casts still setting be racing round a track.

At least this is what I'm crossing every finger and hoping is going to happen....

You have a point there... I hope it was a straight forward crash and not one of those "how did that happen? Didn't know it could land like that" kind of crashes.

I love the little hamster. I truely hope JC and may will be giving him some stick on our screens in October.
 
i can't believe it, absolutly gutted, i really hope he gets better, i've put (au) in my msn name to wish him the best of luck, top gear just won't be the same without him :(
 
Hope he gets better - his banter is too funny on Top Gear and he seems like a really down-to-earth chap. Will be following this closely... :(

I don't think any of us will forget his funniest line so far:

'I am a driving God!!!' - when he was driving that wildcat 4x4 super car.

That was soooo blatantly fixed to roll, all the other drivers had the normal seat belt but for some reason richard had a 4 point harness on in the rascal hmm!

Im sure he will pull through and be back filming in no time!
 
But don't you just love laughing at him...him and most of his crappy shows he does. I just can't help liking him for that. He actually does crack me up. Really hope he's ok.
