***Hardest Boss Thread***

Lady Vashj is much easier when comparing to Kael'thas Sunstrider which my guild is stuck on atm,

So my vote goes for Kael'thas Sunstrider, final Tempest Keep boss,

I have that to look forward to in the New Year. :p

Apparently early MH\BT is a walk in the park in comparison.

I can't believe how many people have posted saying Ultimecia is hard to beat! Surely you just use aura and then use Squall's final limit break which incurs over 100k damage? (a lot more than that actually, I think, with his ultimate weapon).

Final Fantasy 7 - Emerald Weapon I found really hard. Only beat it on my 3rd time round playing the game, and having worked for many yellow counter materia + limit break ...

Ruby Weapon I never did end up defeating, for one I found it too hard, and the reward is pretty crap too, a Gold Chocobo with poor stats?

The Rathe Council in Everquest: Planes of Power.

To win you had to kill 12 mobs in X minutes (think it was 15), but they all had too many hit points to make that possible. Basically had to get them down to very low health then keep them there until all were on like 5% health, then zerg each one down. We had about 90 people in the zone when we did that lol - biggest rush ever when we did that.

Have to agree with the guys that say Alex the Kidd in Miracle World. Should get the system out to play again its been in the loft for years!

Also, anyone remember that army game that came with a light gun for the Master System? I have it still and remember it being one of the hardest games I ever played... What was it called again?

final boss of metal slug X (i think) with the giant brain when you're falling through the atmosphere.

i challenge any of you to beat that WITHOUT 'inserting' 100's of credits

Operation Wolf? You were literally a one-man Rambo army trying to clear locations of 80+ enemies, several vehicles\helicopters.

YES! oh man yeah that was it! Really fancy getting the system down and having a blast but it's gonna look shocking I know it. :P

Hehe, its been a while. Side-scrolling, with the enemies coming in from both sides. The helicopter sprites didn't look too bad though...

physco mantis - metal gear solid

didnt realise you had to swap the controller ports so battled him for ages and finally beat him quite an achievement when he's reading your mind

Cant remember the exact details of the boss, but it was the wheel chair dude in Rise of the Triads.

Thought the last level with all the super soldiers in NoLF2 was pretty hard as well.

The hardest boss ever... probably the third boss on Ikuraga.

Yea quite hard :p
