didnt realise you had to swap the controller ports so battled him for ages and finally beat him quite an achievement when he's reading your mind

Hardest that i havnt beat: Spiderball boss in MetroidPrime2.

eh? Farcry? The last level wasn't easy, but it was certainly do-able without the ***** trick. As for the boss, a couple of bullets and he went down no problem. The hardest boss in Farcry was that damned helicopter on the sinking ship

Nah, just jump in the water and swim to land. Then hide behind a palm tree and just pop out with the rocket launcher using the tree to shield you from the gunfire.

I cant get pass the boss in Diablo 1, its not the final final end one, its the one before that

i gave up on it, but I tried for weeks on that boss...
need to reinstall it and give it another go...

Lazarus? Just carry as much stone curse and fire resistance as you can get your hands on and then smash him up!

The last boss in Nomad Soul was probably the toughest I can remember, I never did beat him.

Four horsemen in Naxx Pre-TBC (Infact a lot of naxx bosses). Getting 40 people to get it perfect was dam hard. Was a awesome feeling when it was done though.

Resident Evil 3 Nemesis fights on Hardest difficulty was a pain in the ass too.

Also from my chilhood days the robot sonic from that spaceship level in Sonic 2 was a P.I.T.A for a young kid at the time ^_^.

ultimecias castle, quite near the end, you have to ring a bell, and get to the place where omega sits before the time runs out. you need to equip your party with some decent items though.

Lol! I know that loads of people just gave up after the second level and never bothered playing to the end. The last section is tiered into about 3 or 4 phases, with a boss that kicks your ass harder and harder each time. Believe me, I was whooping and yelling at about 3 in the morning when I finally beat it - a proper "punch-your-fist-in-the-air-and-laugh-manically" moment.

What an awesome game!

It certainly was - I never completed it though (I got rid of the XBox). I remember getting some evil bosses (the big dragon thing) and as I said I had to play it on Ninja Dog level. The first boss was evil as well, you're just learning the controls and this Ninja type bloke pops up and gives you a kicking.

Certainly one I'm going to play again though - I still have the original disk!

Inspired by this thread I went back and managed to finish FarCry last night!

God that game was pretty big, not played Crysis (just the demo) but I can't imagine it is anywhere near as long as FarCry.

The final boss on Body Harvest.........I don't think I ever got past it without cheats!

my god that brings back memories, definately rock solid but awesome game!

hardest boss for me is kael'thas on WOW, took my guild 3 months to learn the fight before downing him and thats with having a good crack at him most days in the week.
