Harmless 39 year old alcoholic woman tortured and beaten to death by girls aged 13 and 14.

Jon venebles was jailed for "life" after the Jamie bulger murder. He was released 8 years later - one up for the do-gooders.

He was then re arrested for downloading child sex abuse pictures - which was a bit of a black eye for the judge and the do-Gooders, but they have since recovered and moved into the next poor lamb in custody.

They are not so dumb.

Literally millions of pounds was spent on "Rehabilitating" those two and providing them with new identities.

Guess whose pocketses all that money ended up in!

And it will still be ongoing! :(

Actually a call for sterilization isn't a bad one, make sure people that are of that sort of mental attitude cant have kids either naturally or by adoption etc..

My mother in law fosters kids, she's had half a dozen pass through her care since she started. Every single one came from a "family" where the mother had several kids by several fathers, they all had had children from the family taken into care and yet continued to be allowed to produce more feral kids who started life with no chance.

They're all massively over privileged kids too in so much as they're given material goods by the state. They then sell the stuff for alcohol or cigarettes, claim it was stolen and get a replacement.

It's a vicious cycle that has to be ended, while I'm absolutely not advocating there being no welfare system, the current one is broken and only encouraging people who will never offer anything to society to breed more kids who will grow up with the same mentality, because it's all they know.

Yeah, let's show them that killing people is wrong, by killing them...

Personally I don't want to give them a deterrent, I want them removed and forgotten about. Same with anyone else who acts in such a barbaric way. For me that is a end of days action and my need to understand them or get to the rationale for their actions is zero.

Guess they be out in about 7 to 8 years

with new names, secret location, Houses bought for them, Money given to them to get started etc etc

It's a difficult one for child prisoners. How can you possibly rehabilitate someone that is surrounded by a bunch of other criminals? Growing up in an environment like that is going to take it's toll, even if you went in there a good child (which obviously they weren't).

And in doing so you are condoning murder by sanctioning it, increasing the murder rate all round and doing more harm to society.

Killing people to show people that killing people is wrong is ridiculous. The laws are not aimed at keeping people like you in cheque, they are aimed at the worst among us, the herd is only as fast as its slowest members after all.

Never mind the countless innocent people who end up on death row, it is a mistake you cannot come back from.

Given what has been said about these girls being vulnerable and having such an upbringing etc they will likely be sectioned in a secure unit rather than put in actual prison.

Except he isnt advocating murder.

Really "countless"? Bit over the top the amount of people on death row in total is hardly countless

I was a goody two shoes and managed to dodge anything like that, so the deterrent worked. In addition I loved and respected my parents and would have felt thoroughly ashamed if I had let them down.

This last point is the crux of criminality. While undoubtedly there are some people who are just wrong, the vast majority of those from stable, loving homes would be more worried to shame their family than upset the law.

The whole case is tragic from every angle

How can people be so harsh on 13 and 14 years olds who have been in care homes. You've no idea what they have been through. I struggle to believe they are fully accountable for their actions.

Agreed, I work with young people on a daily basis and most people wouldn’t even know the crap that so many of them live with. There’s a reason laws protect that age, they aren’t old enough to be held fully accountable. I worry about the people who want to bash the heads in of a 13 or 14 year old, almost more than this crime itself.

********, you know not to do that at 13/14, no wonder society is a joke and judges are soft as you two if you think any excuse in your upbringing for what the did you need your moral compass's looked at.

And yet the vast, vast majority of 13 or 14 year olds don't torture and murder people. Almost like they know it's wrong (or that they'll be punished).
