11pm at night time, normal manhatten roads wont let you upto 80mph cos lights and traffic. there will be interstates but max is 50mph i think. some taxi driver will be a bit mroe liberal but NO ONE wants to be picked up on speeding and a fineAre there local roads/interstates where you can legitimately do 80mph.

As you say though it paints a different story from the one mentioned in the Sussex's press statement, these two should be careful about crying wolf to many times. Being the cynic that I am these days I wouldn't be surprised if some of this was a setup for there next documentary or Netflix show.

The taxi picked them up at a police station after they say they had been chased for two hours they went to the police station for safety.
The whole journey wasnt in a taxi.
