Harry and Meghan to resign

Are there local roads/interstates where you can legitimately do 80mph.

the pairs alarmist reporting doesn't do anything for ongoing credibility in UK legal cases - won't the defence use it, as, good character/reliable witness references

In Manhatten the highest speed limit is 50mph

In the state, it's 65mph.

Later at night you could certainly exceed those limits in places.

The way they react to being targeted is making it much worse for everyone involved so the sooner they win their legal cases the safer it'll be for all the famous people? :D

Or will their reactions not become entitled by law?

Sounds like BS to me. 2 hour chase in New York city, the only way that was 2 hours was if it was on foot.

What i dont get is they came in a number of security cars but left on a taxi?? If they thought they were in danger or any concern why would they not go back into the venue rather than run around in a chase?

11pm at night time, normal manhatten roads wont let you upto 80mph cos lights and traffic. there will be interstates but max is 50mph i think. some taxi driver will be a bit mroe liberal but NO ONE wants to be picked up on speeding and a fine

so i doubt they ever got to 80mph or there was a "chase"

more like you spot someone famous and you end up driving along next to them for a few blocks, but being papparazzi they proabbly followed for a while and never gave up.

Had forgotten that the TV companies, at least, expensed a helicopter for tracking OJ, I guess H&M aren't as high value, or, overflying in NY is, post 9/11, more controlled.
(the scene from Heat where Pacino tracks de-niro comes to mind - hopefully SouthPark continue their H&M parodies, or maybe a film, akin to Team America )

The taxi driver himself says ten minutes and describes the situation somewhat differently.

The biggest outrage from that story was a 10 minute taxi ride cost $50.

As you say though it paints a different story from the one mentioned in the Sussex's press statement, these two should be careful about crying wolf to many times. Being the cynic that I am these days I wouldn't be surprised if some of this was a setup for there next documentary or Netflix show.

It's America though? Crying wolf is basically a religion.

The taxi picked them up at a police station after they say they had been chased for two hours they went to the police station for safety.

The whole journey wasnt in a taxi.

pretty sure it would have been like $10 but the guard tipped him well.

i think they over cooked the time line as well...maybe counting from the time they left the ball to the second time they went to NYPD
