Harry's relationship with Markle is the House of Windsor's equivalent of Corbyn bedding Diane Abbott, a calculated attempt to shock (and outrage many).
At least Corbyn had the sense not to marry Abbott and merely use her as the making of a youthful and transitory statement
Prince Harry is being played like a fiddle and is too thick to see it, in my opinion. He's way out of his depth and getting in deeper still. The Princess of Wales genes are strong in the lad

It was kind of a rhetorical question but I just don't get why they seek it. Surely they could just slink away into obscurity without ever needing to work again?

I don't think he's that calculating tbh... she likely did play down the whole not knowing who he was thing though.
Its shameless, they keep thinking of new ways to stay relevant and make headlines to milk the cash cow. I dont support the Royals but for heaven sake, Harry have some dignity. He been pulled around like a puppet and losing what little integrity he had left.

Yes while also claiming they want their privacy but keep making and selling headlines in books and interviews when it suits them. The same trick will only work so many times.

I dont know how legit their story is but it got to the point where the more stories they tell and sell, it becomes less credible and disingenuous. Using the car chase contrast of Diana's death as a means to gain public attention is a new low even for them.
