Harry and Meghan to resign

This, he’s describing a scene from GoT, doesn’t make it right though, I’m no M&H fan and enjoy clarksons entertainment but that’s a bit strong, just unnecessary.
He literally referenced 4 women in that 2 sentence paragraph. Comparing Nicola Sturgeon to Rose West and Meghan Markle to a fictious female villain. Bundling all 4 into this bigoted, misogynistic context and we have the usual suspects lapping up the humour.

I have too much respect for my mother, wife, sister and daughters to be finding any of that even remotely close to entertainment.

That's what you think Racism is? That actually explains a lot about your postings and views on things, Racism through the eyes of a midwit
Stay classy with the personal insults, why not type it in upper case and then you'd really be putting me in my place.

Sturgeon suffers from racist and misogynistic abuse on a daily basis, just as Markle does. They are both clever, independent and strong women who refuse to cower to bullies like Clarkson, which is why he despises them. The fact that he lacked the awareness to understand the significance of including those 4 women in that context makes it incredibly easy to demonstrate what these 2 women have to endure from our disgusting tabloid media.

Bang on.
I seriously forgot how she was hunted daily by the media, how she could wear the same clothes as Kate but the media would compare her to a council house tart.
I suppose at the time I thought it's something she's got to put up with.
Harry then has enough, takes his family away but the media just seem to step it up.
There's only so much you can take before you fight back.
People forget how long it took to get to that point.
This is the comical irony of those that try to portray him as "subservient" for sticking by her. What self respecting husband would stand back and see his wife treated like that?

The people calling him a pussy whipped wimp are the same people who cried on demand when a 98 year old who was practically a fictitious character to them "suddenly" died.

The mental gymnastics involved here is just... Well, mental really.

Edit - can we clear something up. Do we have the quotes/pieces where they specifically asked for privacy (I don't doubt it but want to see exactly how they said it)?
The article is in the OP - they never said they wanted privacy, that's just a made up narrative to continue attacking them.

They basically said they wanted out and were happy to stand on their own two feet financially. The backlash since is just a massive group of people struggling with rejection.

It absolutely is a plea, via the courts. You may also want to watch the (in)famous Oprah interview if you want it from the horses mouth.
Plead and plea are different words.

Maybe an analogy will help you understand:

There's this guy, right. He has his own business, driving a taxi. When the light's on, you're free to hop in. When the light's off, you're not. Just because you got a lift on Saturday night, it doesn't mean you can jump in the cab anytime you like.

It's really not that complicated.

I'm a bit concerned for Harry's wellbeing, I mean he clearly harbours long-term resentment and deep-seated grudges against whoever his real father is, for passing on his ginger hair to him.

If there's one thing weirder than the English subservience when it comes to their lords and masters, and that's some serious weird in itself, it's the obsession with ginger hair.

This thread all the way back on page 4.

Strange that considering today's court events.

He goes against the grain again to tell it like it is. I think the guy is an absolute breath of fresh air, and it's amazing how many people fall for the BS in the press; they're like lemmings.

I suspect Harry is probably right in what he is saying but has no real proof that it happened.

But rather than bury it and move on, he wants to take the media to task.

Unfortunately, there is every likelihood he'll lose and end up looking a bit silly.
Let's be honest, even if he wins the case then the usual mob will be giving it.. "yea, but no, but don't you think his wife is a bit of a cow.."

Harry is an absolute legend for standing by his family and taking these utter rats through the courts.

Harry says his “mission” over how the press operate continues.

“I believe in the positive change it will bring for all of us. It's the very reason why I started this, and why I will continue to see it through to the end."

Nobody would have had a problem with the pair of them if that was what it was all about but when they bought their relatives into it was when the public turned against them.
I couldn't give a toss about any of that, or any of the royals for that matter. There's no way I'd be crying on demand for the Queen like some North Korean leader lover.

I think it's a bit of an irony that the one royal that gets all the hate is the guy that most resembles what a normal bloke would do to protect his family, taking on an absolute **** like Piers Morgan and the whole rotten tabloid establishment. Meanwhile Uncle Nonce floats gleefully under the radar... This island is not normal.

With respect to Prince William's think list of engagements, it might be that being a father, having your wife incapacitated and acting as Counsellor of State for the Monarch whilst they are having cancer treatment fills the diary. I don't remember any criticism of William's workload prior to those events?

Don't panic it's just a slow news week. If William so much as breaks a fingernail, then they'll all be bubbling and sending their thoughts and prayers; North Korea mode engaged.
