Has EA stolen my money?

It is pretty much a default reply mind you and they probably didn't do any real investigation at all. Was a few cases in the early days of BF4 when a small number of people got replies like that and insistence an investigation had been done and then it came out that there was a wider spread issue that wasn't turned up until they actually did investigate when an increasing number of people were banned which finally led to enough pressure to get them to look into it.

What would you suggest to write back to them Rroff?, he's getting shut down and it's bugging me that they basicaly robbed that money and have no intention of resolving it

Try something like this. But instead of Father put Sephiroth Clone

^ The reason we have contraception.

And yet I'm not banned from Battlefield 5.

See my post after that one.
1) Is there 2 factor authentication on crezzlin's origin account? If there is there should be emails etc about unauthorized access
2)Ask EA support to look into login records to see if there was unauthorized access and Vladimir the cheat logged in and played on his account.
3) change passwords

In all seriousness though IF the account was compromised get onto EA. Should have 2 factor enabled too.

I'll ask him when i hear from him, he's probably on his way to work right now. He's changed his pw and im not sure about the 2 stage authorazation. Given what happened it's a wise choice.

Gotta admit ... this made me laugh *2)Ask EA support to look into login records to see if there was unauthorized access and Vladimir the cheat logged in and played on his account.*

Had this happen to me on my gta5 account many many many times, always a russian

IF OP is guilty he deserves everything he gets ..... However I know what it is like to be accused of cheating in games when innocent and it proper sucks so on the chance he is innocent I don't think it is helpful ridiculing him.
If he cheated EA have acted appropriately and OP just learned a £40 lesson. If he didn't then people here have given him the only avenues available to try to get his account back, either way I don't see anything else good coming from baiting the OP.

If that is OP its pretty damning, look under the unknown players on my link. Was in the game 45s, had 7 kills with 6 headshots

That does look pretty bad - very few scenarios outside of 360 degree head-snapping aimbot that could account for that unless there is some bug in the game (The Division for instance at one point all deployable weapon kills were being counted as headshots incorrectly) - which being Dice you can't rule out hah but I've seen no one mention anything like that so far.

Just chiming in to say that EA accounts can get hacked quite easily without 2 factor authentication.

I used to be Funky-Melon on Origin and one day a few years ago I got banned from a server and kept getting kicked then logged out with a message saying I was logged in elsewhere.

I had hundreds of hours on BF3 and BF4 but punkbuster kept kicking me. Called EA support and they said a cheat had been used and that nothing dodgy could be seen but the ban was to stay in place, they couldn't lift it. I was livid as I've never cheated and hate cheaters, I asked the guy if he could see the IP addresses of where I was signed in and one was located in Russia (no surprise!) - no idea why he didn't think that seemed suspicious but agreed in the end it wasn't me.

Told me my account had to be deleted though :(

To be fair to EA when I set up my new account on my other email they gave me all my games and unlocks back etc, just had to start at rank 1 again!

I'm now Funki-Melon with an 'I' lol.

Two factor authentication wasn't a thing then though. Haven't seen OP's stats but if 2 factor is off it can certainly happen.

Edit - Just seen OP's profile, rank 50 and 100% compete after 11 hours game time? Smells like BS to me.

Well I just sent EA another message asking to check ip location, also my Hotmail popped up today saying my account had been accessed from Thailand and then synced, I sent a screenshot to EA with my note because it has the ip.... I use Gmail for Origin but used the same password, I only get asked my user and password for origin access so I take it that's one step?
