I'd posted before but no weird noises on mine. Loudest thing in my case is the HydroShift 2 pump (although less intrusive since the new firmware and lower pump speeds). I run them at a constant 50% and they have been great. Temps are certainly lower than they were in my O11 mini, although that is expected I suppose. That was loaded with 9 120mm AL fans and defo made noise as they ramped up. Gpu and CPU sit at very happy temps now.
 
I've gone back to air to avoid all the mucking around that water entails, and chose this case to make the switch with. Previously, I was using a ThermalTake View 71 TG case with Lian Li UNI SL120 fans attached to radiators front and top. It was basically the O.G. fishtank case with thick glass panels covering 4 sides. Compared with my new Havn, the glass restricted the air so much that even with 780mm of rad capacity I couldn't dissipate the heat enough to make water worth it, especially when there was any dust buildup (which happened frequently, as dust gets lodged in the radiators).

With this new one, I've gone all-out air using the three fans that come with the Havn BF360 Flow, plus two additional 180mm in the Havn recommended config (one top intake, one top vent) and it is cooling an AMD 9950X3D + RX 9070XT. CPU cooler is Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 and it doesn't need to really ramp up in this case. I've got the CPU in performance mode atm, just because I can't be bothered to open the case and flip the switch to quiet mode, but it's sitting at 35% right now. Havn case fans are at 28%.

There is a light hum coming from somewhere, but I haven't identified from which set of fans yet. The hum is strangely about the same volume with closed-back headphones on as it is when I take them off, although I can obviously hear the slight hiss of air moving much more easily when I take the headphones off. Not audible when playing games at all, just quietly browsing etc. Not sure if it's turbulence or motor noise, but the one good thing with my previous 6x Lian Li UNI SL120 setup is that there was no noticeable motor noise, but this new Havn case ends up being much quieter, because the fans don't need to ramp up very much at all plus I don't have to worry about leaks, tube lengths and waterblocks any longer, because I'm on 100% air, for goodness sake.

I returned mine unfortunately. I had the flow for the 180mm fans and no matter what I did, they hummed. I guess I was used to Noctua. Went back to my Flux Pro all Noctua build for now.

That's a shame. I really like the case, and CBA to disassemble/ reassemble everything, so I suppose I'll just wait until there are some good new 180mm fans to buy.

I mean, they put in all the work for the case itself, with noise dampeners on most fixtures, and the fans let it down a bit with their resonance or motor noise.
 
I'm looking at the one without fans, then just use my current Noctua fans in the front. Though would ideally like to buy 4 x new 140 mm.

Had that idea too which is why I ordered the non-flow first but it never arrived. I wonder if having 3 x 140mm Noctua A14 G2 in the front of the Havn will move anywhere near the amount of air and cool the GPU via the air scoop, as the 2 Havn 180mm fans though.

Right now I have 3 of them 140mm G2's in my Flux Pro at the front, and 2 x 120mm G2's intaking air from the bottom and they run around 450rpm and are silent. In gaming you can barely here them as they only ramp up to 550rpm. A bit louder in benching of course. Not sure if the Havn would run as cool or effectively with less Noctua fans.

Out of curiosity has anyone mounted their GPU vertically in this case. I see the generic Havn vertical PCI-E 5.0 gpu bracket is available to order now.

Since you have Flux Pro I'd say keep what you have.
 
I do wonder how much of the cooling comes from the case design and how much comes from having two (loud, it seems) thick 180mm fans in.

Did they get good cooling by elegant design or brute force?
 
The amount of air the fans move is incredible. I'm not sure on their static pressure, not that I've seen 180mm radiators, but I've got 4 of them and can feel the breeze of the fans from quite a distance away, even at 40%. At 100% it feels and sounds like a hurricane. I'd they didn't have the background hum, I'd 100% be happy with these and no AIO whatsoever. As it is, I'm not that happy when I'm browsing or during quiet gaming sessions.

For those that have the case, is the build quality as good as reviews make out? Fractal have good reviews but their cases always feel a bit cheap in my opinion. Had the Meshify 3 XL and was so disappointed with it (the momentum fans were really quiet though but they've used proprietary connectors!). The Torrent performs well but there's too much plastic. Don't think I'll touch another Fractal case.

I'm really tempted by the BF360 airflow, but a little cynical as it almost seems like most of the reviews are paid. HAVN seem to have come out of nowhere and everyone's raving about them.

It’s really solid, weighs a ton. Absolutely brilliant quality, the only let down to me was the GPU stand, just not very good.
 
Ive only recieved this case, so cant comment on the build just yet, but if you go for the non flow version , it doesnt come with the fan hub. but if you contact Havn they will send one out.
 
All installed, really pleased with it. Flow version.
Had 2 Torrents in the past, both had clicking noise issues with the large fans, so I was aware what could happen, but this time I’ll take the win.
To keep inaudible at 30-40cm away from my ear, I’m running the front fans at 30%. Tested and would be happy at 35
while idling.
Under load and I’ll boost to 50% max, I high will be more than enough but still acceptable.
I like to run my fans at the lowest rpm where possible.
All in all, the only two things I can honestly point as cons for me are: no front bracket for smaller fans (losing flexibility) and would love the front panel to be all black, even if using the same texture, but black would be great (may spray paint it at some point, unless HAVN decides to offer options).

Nothing here. I’m quite picky for noise, be it humming or clicking. Finally O was lucky, I guess. Not sure if any impact, but decide to run only the front fans with the hub, rear fan connected directly to motherboard.
