Hayfever - Thread

weirdly, this is the first year in maybe 7 or 8 years I've not had any signs of it yet. Normally mine flares up around early May. Either I'm lucky or a particular type of pollen is kicking off later this year.

Yeah I'm still yet to get any symptoms apart from the odd itchy eye but it's not enough to notice if I'm busy. I really thought I'd suffer this weekend with the high pollen counts but didn't notice a thing

First year in 12 years

I seem to have come out in a bumpy rash on the back of my hand in the last few days, I've got an appointment with the doctors, but just wondering if anyone else has had similar symptoms to this (not looking for medical advice).

As an aside, anyone wanting to try honey as a natural remedy - try to get some locally produced honey rather than off the shelf. I seem to recall reading something that the origins of people citing honey as a relief has to do with the local pollen being collected etc.

Mine is particularly bad today. Itchy eyes and a runny nose, just taken a tablet so hopefully should ease off soon.

Chlorphenamine Maleate seems to be the only one that works for me, Cetirizine doesn't work at all for me.

Not a peep from the hayfever yet this year, it always gets me and when it does it doesn't stop... I have been lucky thus far.

I'm on Fexafenadine 120Mg and it started working within a few hours.
However, miss a tablet or two and the hayfever is back in full effect :(

I'm struggling today, been awake since 4am constant sneezing, blowing my nose, no itchy eyes though, definitely time to try some new tablets.

hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday

and being at work makes me feel worse as i can't cool myself down there which just makes the symptoms 100x worse

Damn, looks like it's not working for me then, are you on one a day?

I take mine at 7am and the sneezing is back by 5
