This year is terrible, ive been taking fexo every day and topping up with acri and still its giving me grief.

No idea whats different, but its sodding annoying.

I use this. It works but is not as effective as I'd like. I'm still blowing my nose constantly

Beconase, cetrizine and maleate this morning. Plus glasses and vaseline in my nostrils and bottom of my nose and I'm currently symptom free. Cycled into work this morning too... Touch wood.

My hay fever hasn't kicked in for the past few years but this year has been bad, keep getting runny/blocked nose, sneezing, coughing and itchy eyes so I'm going to get some cetirizine tablets to see if it helps but do you guys buy them online or from Boots?

I used to buy Tesco own brand or Boots but have reverted to prescription now I am so ancient that I need an annual certificate to cover all the other stuff i need to keep going

Not touched me much at all this year so far. Usual nasal spray working wonders and eye drops for when I feel an itch coming. Sorry to see the sprays have been giving some of you guys nose bleeds

Anyone tried eating local honey for hayfever?

Mine is so bad at the moment if im not wearing sunglasses or saftey glasses or indoors i look like im crying.

Doesnt help having a job right next to a park at the moment but today was the last day so hoping it might improve.

no, and the science doesn't back it up.

Researchers at the University of Connecticut found no evidence of honey's effectiveness in a study published in 2002. They divided their hay-fever sufferers into three groups. To one group, they gave local unpasteurised, unfiltered honey. A second group was given nationally collected, filtered and pasteurised honey. The third group received a placebo of corn syrup with honey flavouring.

All subjects were asked to record how dreadful they felt on different days, but neither honey group fared better than the placebo one

I tried it a few years back, made no difference to me at all.

The only thing I came away from the trial with was that I started loving honey in my black coffee

What's going on this year? Dont remember my hayfever ever being as bad.

I've got the prescription chloraphenamine alongside 2-3 over the counter one a day pills.

Sinuses and post nasal drip has been particularly bad.

Mine's been noticeably worse in the last few weeks too. I usually have one Loretadine a day but looking at alternative tablets.

chlorphenamine is piriton, i got told to have one before bed to help the post nasal drip while i sleep, and to knock me out so i sleep lol, don't work for either lol

This morning has been my worst day so far, but I did walk the dog over a large park yesterday with lots of overgrown wild grass/weeds etc so that hasn't helped.
