Hazro 24" S-IPS, micro review + chat

I can attest to it being damn tricky to refit the stand! Mine is back on, but a bit looser than it should be. Doesn't really bother me as it'll get sorted when the new revision comes out (either that or I'll finally get a Vesa mount, still haven't decided which one, if any, I'm going to get).
 
If you've contacted Hazro and bought your screen from Hazro direct then yeah you get an update soon, if you bought from OCUK then I'm sure OCUK will swap it!

If bought from OcUK, how would you envisage that this will happen?

Under what reasoning would OcUK do this?

Its just that i've had abit of a nightmare with my Hazro!

Hmm not sure, but OCUK are aware of the dpms issues and since only the revised screen fixes this it's logical to think that this is what would happen :/
 
No probs with mine apart from the DPMS issue but I have left my PC on as much as possible and turned off screen manually so that's ok for the moment. There are some backlight issues I reported to Hazro but I'm not worried about those as the screen is getting switched soon anyway!
 
Cool - I wish i could say the same with mine but hopefully the update will be as good as we think. I just hope the transition for the update is as easy and straightforward as we're made to believe, i'm very sceptical on this but i guess we'll find out soon enough!!
 
You can wall mount it, you just need the currently available mounting bracket (just like you do with Apple Cinema Displays).

Kendo: What problems are you having with yours? More dead pixels?

mrk: what backlight issues are you having?
 
The backlight has gotten stronger on the left side slightly, only noticeable when the room is dark when watching a movie though and it wasn't like that when I got it until some weeks after! not really a big bother but since it's being replaced I thought what the hell :p
 
Its good to see hazro releasing the fixed model soon with hdmi input, if it had 92% gamut or better I proberly woulda got it but 1st ill wait for the 2408 HC A01 revised fixed model, and then see which one is the better option ! There both apparantly due in the next 2-4 weeks anyhow.
